In Shakespeare's day they used these stone "toadstools" to hold up things like hay ricks to keep them off the ground. Now they're in heavy demand as antiques and sadly at considerable risk of theft.
handmade from felted, repurposed wool sweaters. this soft toadstool stands about 4 1/4" tall and is 4" wide. it is lovingly sewn by both hand and machine and stuffed firm with 100% sheeps wool, and weighted with dried beans.
perfect for a woodland display, nature table or gentle play.

I must be a bit daft, because it turns out last year I bought a toadstool garland and 12 individual cluster toadstool decorations - why, more than enough for my advent clendar to get all toadied up! Then I forgot I had them until we took the Xmas decos box upstairs this morning and rummaged around LOL! YAY! These are the most delicious red, the pic does not do them justice!
