This one had steel remnants from an old bench or handrail maybe...I can't help but wonder "what were they thinking."

For my daughter's 7th birthday party - Woodland Fairy themed. Chocolate cupcakes topped with Fondant & vegan white chocolate chips. The girls loved them!
Toadstools outside of Page, Arizona. Very unusual balance for the boulder on the right as there is no tangency with its companion on the left. While the color image came out perfectly with hardly any post processing adjustments, I preferred this B&W interpretation.
This is out of focus, but here for historical reference. My LFS guy gave me this about two weeks before this picture. It's a Toadstool Leather Coral. He gave it to me because some loser and brought it to him, not in water. You can see how all the polyps are not really developed.

Speaking about heather and Tolkien, I'll probably never forget this one from "The Hobbit" (I think that's the only one I still know by heart):
sing all ye joyful, now sing all together!
the wind's in the tree-top, the wind's in the heather;
the stars are in blossom, the moon is in flower,
and bright are the windows of night in her tower.
