here are my toadstool brooches , i have posted a tutorial on cutoutandkeep.net if you fancy making one yourself.
This magic mushroom is daringly titled 'Alien Visitor' and urges you to play with it...musically, emitting blinks, bleeps and 'extra-terrestrial' signals.
Vivid at Darling Harbour is only interesting if you wouldn't risk your children in a big crowd. The static Robot Spaceland doesn't move or light up and the wheelchair experience is a good idea that featured last year.
The ICC Sydney Theatre at the refurbished Darling Harbour precinct has sold out of Elton John tickets, although he has other Sydney gigs. The remaining tickets are $1499, or you could fly to Perth for the cheap seats at $399. ICC Sydney replaced the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in 2016.
We've had a superabundance of mushrooms in our backyard this year.

Last week I went location hunting and decided to check this open area of the city and came across this wonderful specimen.
Toadstools Formations, UT
These formations are easily accessible. Just a short 1/2 mile hike off of US Hwy 89, between Page, AZ & Kanab, UT. I hit these on one of my many trips to the area in 2019.
There are a number of photography oportunities here. I hit the area around mid morning. The light was pretty good. the "theater" of where these rocks sit are all south facing/exposed, so I think any part of morning or later afternoon would allow proper light to shoot most of the formations.

(9.365) Went on a walk for fall color and found tons of these guys growing everywhere. I thought the vivid oranges and reds against the stark white was especially pretty on these. Since I came away with my first ever mushroom pictures a few days ago I figured I might as well have a go at it again.
Yummy! Dark chocolate cake, strawberry mousse filling, whipped cream frosting and buttercream details. For more info on the "making of" visit www.charmandwhimsy.typepad.com.
Another from my trip to Cramond Island on Sunday. I found these toadstools in a nice shady and mossy part of the island.
Anyone with any fungi ID skills that could tell me what these are?
A collection of toadstools, again shot with the Pentax 50mm f/1.7 which helps to throw the background out of focus
Tiny little toadstool ornaments made of recycled garment wool. The tops have been hand-dyed using (from left to right) onion skins, red cabbage, and parsley. They hang from a loop of hemp.
They're all about 2.5" tall.
