Taken on the side of the road near Hellyer Gorge in Tasmania. There were so many of these mushrooms, all different sizes and shapes.

Toadstools on the Middlewood Way. Autumn is well under way.

Toadstools everywhere in the decomposing autumn leaves dropped by the trees.

Not sure if I'd ever seen one quite like this in real life before! Was quite excited and had my camera with me that day in uni so took a shot!

Sunny 16 Rule

Home Developed with Unicolor C-41 Powder Kit

Only my second time using the Lubitel 2. Mine is missing the magnifying glass, making focusing extra difficult, so I just estimated my distance. I also used the Sunny 16 Rule, which was good practice, so it was kinda back to basics on this roll.

Four hours this morning in the Everglades, I saw all kinds of plant life that I cannot identify. Can you help?

More oddities from Toadstool Park.

Went for a walk up the Merrick in Dumfries & Galloway yesterday. The woods on the way are full of these vibrant toadstools, which I hadn't seen before. All I could think of was the Super Mario themetune.

Or maybe mushrooms. I'm not tasting them to find out. :-)

My partner had pincushions as a "like" on her profile so I decided to make a toadstool bottlecap pin cushion for her

I'm playing with my photo set-up a little. Normally I shoot my brooches in a bowl against a dark background, but I'm not feeling as "dark" these days. Any thoughts?

Evening light on a spectacular rock formation at The Toadstools. Located half way between Kanab and Page, getting to this beautiful and remote area requires about an hour cross country hike off the side of Highway 85.

There is something about toadstools which I find very appealing! Probably it's the shape :) I thought I'll just crochet this sweet little toadstool house and place it amongst my houseplants. Hopefully...some gnomes will come a-visting :)

The toadstool measures about 3.4 inches (8.6cm) in height and the grass patch is about 2.7 inches (6.9cm) at its widest part.
