This Valentine

by : oxy63n

Look at yourself and ask what you have;

Feel your life and embrace it,

Never release that feeling coz its

Amazing, when you feel love.

This valentine you are so special,

Making a good harmony to celebrate it,

Glittering eyes and a bubbly heart

is obviously you'll celebrate it.

Why love can cover sorrows?

why is it that we fall in-love?

can we make everyday is valentines day?

oh love come and stay.

no walls can disturb when love acts,

no pain can be felt when love is there, and

almost every moment are so special

coz love never deny.

My beautiful (rain-drenched) winter flowering heleborus is now in full bloom. So nice to have at this time of the year when almost everything in the garden is at rest.

Taken 3 January 2015, in connection with a photo club assignment on 'Seasonal Images'

Camera: Nikon D600. 200mm lens. Processed in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Elements 12.

This story is brought to you by the word...ASSUME

You know what they say about one who makes an assumption regarding something….ASS U ME….

I am a flirty woman…It does not make me a loose woman or a woman that cheats on her husband because I flirt. My husband is everything I need…(sometimes more that I can handle). Recently our neighborhood restaurant and bar where we love to hang out hired a new manager. He started out giving me a friendly little hug and peck when we came in and when we left. He was recently divorced…I would flirt….My husband has no problem with me flirting with male friends ….and he is always there with me…I mean NOTHING by it. At some point the man ASSUMED that I was coming on to him…and pushed me away because he now has a girlfriend…. How full of ones self can one be to think that? …When I realized his attitude had changed toward me...I apologized to him if I had offended him in anyway, and he rejected it….I cannot say how that made me feel….At least I tried to make things right….A better man would accept the apology and move on….I guess for me the worst part is that someone thinks I am one that would cheat on my wonderful husband….I am a woman of impeccable morals… I dont go after another womans man(had it done to me and I know how it feels)...I dont cheat....

(I feel better now) LOL!

The card read.....three roses...one each from my heart, my mind, and my soul....

Delivered by a co-worker to my desk from a nice man in the parking lot.....;-).

Christmas market at tingshuset in Västerhaninge today.

Built between 1731 and 1734. Then a pub, (until 1844,) later it served as the district court until 1916. It has also been used as a post office, shop, and as a private residence. Today used as a museum, library and meeting place for the local historical association.

Linslade Bluebell Woods.

These woods are carpeted with bluebells. So beautiful. They are in every direction. I wanted to be able to take a panoramic shot to encircle myself in. So, I tried to capture it all by taking 4 shots in different directions, and placing the single flower in the middle of it all, just as I was. I hope you like it.

Taken for 52.5 of 2010.

Week 18: Theme: Spring.

Textures from Moosebite and Tina Sea.

Happy Winter Holidays!

Some new bits, some recycled and re-purposed items, some old things, but all festive and fun in honor of the winter holidays.

Handmade wooden figures. The modern Lucia wakes the family with refreshments on the morning of 12th Dec. Also known as Lusse (a nickname for Lucifer, suggesting a more sombre origin to the ceremony). Nothing to do with Italy.
