A barbie dolll cake with a Tinkerbell instead. I went a bit crazy with the glitter, but then who wouldn't?
Freshly overhauled, 656, "Tinkerbelle" heads for Peterborough Nene Valley with the first train of the day from Wansford seen at Longueville Jct.
Danish F Class 0-6-0 656 (aka Tinkerbell because of a bell fitted above the cab) returned to public service this weekend at the Nene Valley Railway. Seen here on the Castor straight not long after departing Wansford with the final trip to Peterborough of the day. The train was composed of four European coaches, I was told 2 from Belgium, 1 from Italy and one Danish which is hidden behind the bush in this photo.

As children we illustrate our own worlds, with magic, with ink, and with memories. When I was young, fairy tales held an immense position in my growth. I could not imagine navigating the fields of (young) adulthood without these characters.
