The water levels were low enough to cross. The main problem was getting enough traction to pull out of the river bed

Sorry for the lack of updates, folks. With Christmas happening and visitung, there hasnt been much time for anything but some mobile photos. We got quite a bit of snow in the last 24 hours, though, so hopefully I can get some new photos up soon.
In other news, I bought my (first) very own guitar 2 days ago (i'll upload something of that later on as well). I hope all has been well!

In this time of lockdown, all we can do is dig out our old slides and share the glory days of past aviation decades. This selection is from London Stansted during 1989 - before the new terminal was built on the opposite side of the runway. Sunday afternoon & evening was a spot-fest of Scandinavian aviation hardware with up to a dozen charters due in from Sweden & Denmark each week.

Time is very slow for those who are waiting,
very fast for those who fear,
too long for those who complain,
too short for those who rejoice,
but, for all those who love, time is eternity.

Rich guy Henry (Matt Bomer) times himself out on the 7th Street bridge.
Had an easy relaxing day, dentist this morning (which isn't really relaxing as I hate the dentist), homebase afterwards for some tester pots (for the kitchen), a wuick nip into Sainsburys and then home. I spent the rest of the afternoon cuddling up with Imogen on the sofa watching Toy Story (her favourite film at the moment).
Once we had collected Bethany from school it was time to crack on with dinner, while that was in the oven and the girls were playing, drawing, and watching tele I managed to fit in half an hour of reading.
Even though I have a Kindle which I do love, I really think you can't beat a good book. It was nice to lose myself, even if it was for half an hour.

It all started in Nashville on Saturday, and then on to Seaside, Florida. The girls after their baths, and more pics below of the family at the beach. Lisha surprised me by flying in to Seaside. Lots of fun, and trying to check out your photos as time allows. Will catch up next week, and wish I could send you all some sunshine....
