The Oostvaardersplassen (Dutch pronunciation: [oːstˈfaːrdərsˌplɑsə(n)]) is a nature reserve in the Netherlands, which is managed by the State Forestry Service. Covering about 56 square kilometres (22 sq mi), it is noted as an example of rewilding. It is in a polder which was created in 1968, but in spite of the environment having little time to develop, by 1989 it had international importance as a Ramsar wetland.

This is a little corner of north Lake Union in Seattle, Washington. I used the HDR effect filter in Adobe's CS5 PhotoShop to 'crunchify' the original image. Then I used Topaz Lens Effects plugin Tilt and Shift to give the image a miniature feel to it. I pumped up the saturation with it, too. Lastly, I added a bit of Gaussian Blur using a layer mask to paint it in selectively.

Can't afford a tilt shift but I've got Topaz lens effects. With a little extra help from elsewhere it looks quite convincing to me. Will have to try it with a higher up shot.
