They proved incredibly hard to shoot - as the heat that day was making them extremely restless. This is one of two shots I could salvage - after a significant amount of cropping.

This was photographed in a kraal at Bannerghatta National Park, India.
The tiger is the largest cat species, most recognizable for their pattern of dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur with a lighter underside. The species is classified in the genus Panthera with the lion, leopard, jaguar, and snow leopard.
