The 30th Annual Hidden Gardens Event was held in Bury St Edmund's on 19th June. A chance to get inspired with some ideas on garden design and planting schemes in other peoples gardens and of course a chance to be nosey!

Not since 2005 have I seen my workbench clear.

Nairobi has been quite good at lining ditches and (in many cases) keeping them clean.

We breed them and grow them to 2 different sizes, 200 kg, and about 340 kg, then sell them. We don't fatten as the local grass in the extreme rainfall isn't high in protein. So we run it as a wiener factory This one was the heavier weight. Breeding was ok but nothing special, a bit light in the bones, see the legs He may even be out of the old herd (cross breed). He is off to the market today, a bit cranky but ok. Its a bit like a conveyor belt, we have to move them as we have many many more ready to wean now, so we have to make space. We will be up around 550 calves per year soon, and the mix is getting closer to 100% Droughtmaster slowly

We are now putting our offspring to work!

Electra Railway Graphics Tidy Desk Policy in action. The printer and cutter are in there somewhere. (I'm actually having a big sort out - it's not normally quite this bad!!)

Just to show that there is a floor under all that junk, this is my living room as it looks today (28/12/2006).

Note the rubber band, which she was doing all sorts of amusing tricks with, till I picked up the camera..

Meeru island workers keeping it tidy...

you don't normally see trucks like this.......however they had transported jacuzzi's for the refurbishment of the 500's and had utilised their truck to take away palm branches - remember the island operates 365 24/7 to accomodate our needs! so its an on going logistical nightmare for them! but done with an absolute minimum disruption - you really would hardly notice anything out of the norm.

Thankyou for all your hospitality and consideration Meeru staff, you really do a great job!

This is why you are a success and repeat customers return time and time again!

See you all soon!

I imagine these are the head and footstones of graves that once

looked like the one shown in the previous photo.

Wendy decided to clean up our tool shed as we have recently received

a large amount of free gear from a neighbor. We needed to find a way

to fit everything inside our container. She did a surprisingly good

job in just two hours of work.

Wind varied between 0 and 28 knots depending on which side of the islands we were on.
