How smart are these trees!!

Hanna has been asked to scrape off any rough bits in the PVC. Of course all the new holes are perfect and smooth, but there are a few old ones that need cleaning up.

They are so neat and tidy and pretty little flowers.

And some people wash their cats...Why? They can do it much better themselves.

The Falcons are the Royal Air Force Parachute Display Team, and here they are at the Scampton Air Show 2017. The sky was very grey and wind and rain kept threatening their display, but they went ahead and provided an impressive spectacle.

Cork Red Marble occurs as paving stone at a number of sites around Fermoy. However, it is a very unique Cork Red Marble quarried from Johnstown near Fermoy. Marble from this tiny quarry was also used in St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York.

A Clipper 60 sailboat has a lot of lines. The Captain and First Mate have specific ways they like the lines coiled on the winches which you can see a closeup of here. We are anchored near the town of Laskjeret, Norway. This was a trip from Tromso to Bodo, Norway on the Clipper 60 sailboat Starling with UK-based adventure sailing company Rubicon3. www.rubicon3adventure.com

I totally forgot to take "before" photos but suffice to say it was an unholy mess in here!

The roof was leaking and during all that torrential rain we had, it was running down the house walls like flippin Niagra Falls :-0 Still, Kevin, our lovely builder came to the rescue and replaced all the flashing, painted the garden wall on our neighbour's side with some stinky waterproofing "stuff" and put in a raised floor :-)

Raising the floor has eliminated the need for the second step down which was there previously at the back door; we now have a small step down out of the lean-to instead. Adrian and I stained all the woodwork and put down vinyl floor tiles. Between his dodgy knees and my dodgy back it took a lot longer than we were anticipating! We also hadn't taken into consideration that laying tiles which were not self-adhesive would take longer too.

Still, the pain, tears and tantrums were worth it in the end as we are really pleased with the end result :-)

In that case, cutting away the flags.

Mill Bay was being tidied up by a National Trust volunteer - rubbish in a bin bag and possible "lost property" on the rock. As for the doggie stuff most beaches in the south west have a strict access code for hounds on beaches in the main holiday season.

Finally got around to cleaning up my study...

A place for everything and everything in its place LOL Well, almost everything ~ just got a few more bits 'n' bobs to sort out, as you can see at the far end.

You wouldn't believe the difference this has made! It has been so worthwhile spending a bit of money on getting it sorted out. It has become such a handy storage area ~ and of course when we move all the shelving can come with us :-)

I'm Moving to Liverpool in 2 weeks!
