a summer evening suddenly erupting into a heavy thunderstorm with drowning rain...I could hardly keep my smartphone dry to shoot the scenery
This is sort of a more ominous, less dramatic version of the other multi-lightning photo I took later that same night.

This picture doesn’t look like much, but it’s one of my favorites: a thunderstorm seen from way above. Lightning illuminates the clouds from inside at night: beautiful show
Cette photo n’a l’air de rien comme ça, mais c’est pour l’instant une de mes préférées : un orage vu du dessus. C’est magnifique de voir les nuages s’illuminer de l’intérieur à chaque éclair !

This composite consists of 81 stacked images. Some moonlight enhances foreground as nearly stationary thunderstorm over northern Colorado allows for this unique (maybe over done - heh heh) perspective of the inner workings of a large thunderstorm cell.
The road sign seems appropriate; warning anyone not to proceed beyond.

This was a severe thunderstorm approaching late afternoon in Lakeshore, Ontario in July 2014. This storm had a lot of rain and lightning, thus why the dark clouds
Thunderstorm over Barrie Ontario. Shot with the composite feature of the Olympus Camera which gave me two lightning strike but also blur the fast moving clouds. Will try a different technique next time.
