I think this villa is one owned and run as a wedding venue.
Beautiful place.

We spent our Friday night drinking in the Ballroom, voting on the new room names and enjoying some food together.
In this view GB Railfreight's class 73 electro-diesel locomotive 73 201 'Broadlands' is hardly recognisable in its former 1970s BR rail blue livery with the locomotive being caked in dirt and grime from its use on the RHTT train workings during the autumnal months, a far cry from its former prestigious duties as 73 142 hauling the Royal Train and other VIP train workings on the former BR Southern Region back in the 1980s and 1990s! To the left of the photo used to be a single-track siding where back in the 1960s and 1970s the former Express Dairy milk trains from the West Country to Morden South (usually hauled by a class 33 or a class 73 from Kensington Olympia onwards to East Putney, Wimbledon and Morden South) used to shunt into in order for the milk from the wagons to be processed and then bottled at the former Express Dairy premises, which has since been rebuilt into a large mosque.

The image above is a 2000 X 1250 pixel scan from an original slide. Anything that is not from an original Kodachrome™ is noted as such, including later digital images and a limited number of scanned prints. The vast majority of Kodachrome™ shots were scanned during the period 2007-2014. As of 2022, there remains thousands of scanned, and unscanned images yet to go.
Early uploads were done in a 1024 X 683 pixel size. Since then, technology and software has improved, so I am beginning to re-upload in the much larger 2000 X 1250 pixel size, with the eventual goal of having only that format.
The images in the various galleries come mostly from my slide collection, gathered over the past 40+ years. They are a combination of my own photographs and others acquired over those years through trading, purchasing, and attending conventions.
This photostream was created in 2017 for the sole purpose of holding my slide collection as an archive, and has had over 10 million image views (to 2022)

REMARKS:
This is a photo of the rocks outside of my work place, using the focus as a white stone and the background as the black to emphasize the darker circled rings of the white stone. What I like about this picture is the contrast of the white and dark stones that bring out the darker features of the white stone. What I don't like about this picture is you can clearly see debris on some of the rocks, which can possibly take away the attention away from the focus. In the future, I can either try to clean up the rocks prior to taking the picture, or learn how to clean the picture up through photoshop.
Through the hardships of the era, through birth and death, tragedy and triumph, a young woman seeks to hold on to faith and family; and a lonely man seeks family and faith.
There so many things that are going through my life these days and trying to organizing everything but i end up with a mess again and again ...

Finally got rid of the broken double glazing and had a new window fitted. No longer must I look at the garden through a misty, dripping, haze!

This is from the series of photos from SEMA 2015, by RallyWays.
The idea behind this collection of images is to show you a pretty complete idea about what SEMA is all about, for those of you that have never attended. For those of you that did attend, this is an opportunity to relive the moments.
Make sure to look through our profile and albums. This image is part of a collection of around 150 photos from the event.
For more, be sure to visit our site. It's on the photo's logo watermark.

Trying desperately to catch some of the last light of the first day of the year with my noisy old camera..

In the distance is Mt Tamalpais and the foothills of Mt. Diablo. That's me on Mission Peak with the city lights visible through my head. Why? Because this was a long exposure with a flash fill. I moved out of the way after the flash went off.
Or perhaps because I'm transparent.
By the way, this experience taught me that using the "rear curtain flash mode" is preferable for this kind of exposure. Rear curtain means the flash is firing as the exposure ends, not when it begins.

There is no indication in the manual of how to thread the filament through the machine. There are some holes on the top surface of the main body that look like they could do the job. After passing through the hole, the filament can be clamped inside the cold extrusion head by pressing down on the side lever, inserting the filament, and releasing the lever.
