Taken through a low rainbow with a 500mm mirror lens on my Sony A6000 on the banks of the River Severn near Shepperdine.
Sunshine is filtering through the gap between these two buildings that I noticed during my walk to Troon, this morning!

Space X launched a Falcon 9 at 1039 PDT from SLC-4 at Vandenberg SFB, California. There was heavy fog, but it did poke through a few times.
While the valley had very few things to block ones view other than buildings that was not the case up on the surrounding mountains.
T09 shoves empties to Four Rivers.
Many times while watching trains, I've used these trees for shade or for cover from the rain .

One of the main things that I had on my summer road trip list was to visit the Cliffs of Moher in Clare. Unfortunately the day that we went there, there was a heavy mist/fog hanging over the cliffs and we couldn't see a thing. So we went for a long walk and hoped that upon our return the mist/fog would have lifted somewhat. Anyway, this is a photo I made on our ramble, you can just about make out the cliffs through the mist

Thanks to VeraJane Vickers for her source image of the "fence" (pictured in first comment below). The flowers are an amalgam of my own images, while the mountains and lake behind are a landscape I took in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada.
This park turned into a beautiful lightshow as the sun started approaching the horizon.
Thanks for your comments!

Last Sunday I went to Covent Garden to see 'Modern Works on Paper' art fair. On arrival, I discovered that there were no discounts for the unemployed but some friendly lady offered me a free, spare ticket. I met in that fair a wonderful book artist called Christine Tacq. She is producing some bespoke art books, filled with beautiful collages. Books that are more than simple paper artifacts. We chatted a little, as I was interested in the purchase of a book based on Ben Jonson poem. In fact, I will buy this book one day... Christine presented me with a lovely teaser, where I found her artwork inside...
This is the keyhole and key to my front door. They are original to the mill we live in and still in good working order. I haven't included the end of the key as it has got a bit squashed over the years and doesn't look particularly good. :-)

not a pretty image but I wanted to capture the weather we are getting at the moment here in the Hebrides.
A picture of a part of "Lignum Vitae" that popped up in the little photo shooting with the artwork ^-^ Strange, but I kind of like it ^-^
The whole artwork is around 40cm x 45cm x 45cm.
It is completely made of small figures and every figure is between 5 and 8 cm. Some build the leaves with their wings
Every figure is made from Awagami Kozo
