A rustic, hand-made sign above the entrance to Chicago and North Western’s yard office in Bill, Wyoming, reads “Through these doors pass the Worlds Greatest Railroaders… That’s the way it is, out here in the west.”
Time...an entity we [humans] argue about.
Time...an entity we [humans] complain about.
Time...an entity we [humans] exploit.
& Time...an entity we [humans] run short of.
How can a unit of measure such as Time dictate and authenticate the mere fabric of society? Like a constant strike of a drum or a mammal's heartbeat, the tick and tock of a clock represent the constant state of motion as we simply move about our "business" through time and space.
The conception of time appears to be real as the ultimate interpretation of "change" itself; we [humans] widely experience and interact with time from that of a snail's pace to a New York Minute. Perhaps the greatest [of all the] mysteries, "Time" waits for no one or thing.
What do you think? How can be [humans] buy sand sell "Time"? Is "Time" truly the most precious commodity there is?

These soles are useless without you

I'm most likely to dye my hair again. But not a crazy color like red. Probably somehwere near brown.
I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.”
―(Lewis Carroll: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass)―
“Yo, señor, en realidad no sé quién soy en este momento, aunque esta mañana lo sabía muy bien cuando me levanté, ¡pero he cambiado tantas veces desde entonces!”
Looking at the world through my Lens Ball seems to change everything... or am I the one changing? Maybe it's all in my head.
I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
From the song "A Horse With No Name" by America
"We need to save those Elders who cannot speak for themselves -- the trees." ~ Haida Gwaii, Traditional Circle of Elders
The trees are the Elders of the Earth. Go to the forest or to the mountains and find a young tree. Then find an old tree. Spend time with each. Sit by the young tree and listen to your thoughts. Then move to an old tree and listen to your thoughts again. Just being in the presence of an old tree, you will feel more calm. Your thoughts will contain wisdom and your answers will be deeper. Why is this so? These old trees know more, have heard more, and are the Elders of the Earth. We must ensure these trees live so we can learn from them. My Creator, help me to protect the trees and listen to them.

all alone in a empty room
nothing left but the memory's
of whennn
i had my best friend
and i don't know how we ended up here
i don't know but it's never been so clear
we made a mistake dear
and i see the broken glass infront of me
i see your shadow hanging over me
and your face i can see
through the tree's
i will find you
i will heal
the ruins left inside you
cause im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
until im set free
go quiet through the tree's
and i remember how we used to talk
about the places we will go when we were off
and all that we were gonna find
and i remember watching our seeds grow
and how you cried when you saw the first leaf show
the love was pouring for your eyes
so can you see
the branches hanging over me
can you see
the love you left inside of me
and my face
can you see
through the tree's
i will find you
i will heal
the ruins left inside you
cause im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
until im set free
go quiet through the tree's
cause your not coming back
and your not coming back
noooooooooooooooooooooo
noooooooooooooooooooooo
nooo your not coming back
your not coming back
and take my breath
as your own
and take my eye's to guide you home
cause im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
and im still here
cause im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
and im still here
cuz im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
im still here breathing now
and im still here
and your not coming back
im still here breathing now
and your not coming back
im still here breathing now
cause your not coming back
im still here breathing now
until im set free
go quiet through the tree's

Found this beauty in a motorcycle museum, go figure. Anyway,
it just screamed for me to make its picture. From the angle, you
can tell that it wasn't easy to gracefully stand again.

Have a super day, my flickerite buddies.
Space X launched a Falcon 9 at 1039 PDT from SLC-4 at Vandenberg SFB, California. There was heavy fog, but it did poke through a few times.
I took Geometry in school. I was good at it. Why the heck do I not remember one single nuance of it? But I'm going with a cube of concrete as a geometrical shape anyway. And I want credit for the physical exertion it took to lift this heavy thing on top of the stump. Especially since Mitzi and I walked 11.2 miles this morning!

One of the main things that I had on my summer road trip list was to visit the Cliffs of Moher in Clare. Unfortunately the day that we went there, there was a heavy mist/fog hanging over the cliffs and we couldn't see a thing. So we went for a long walk and hoped that upon our return the mist/fog would have lifted somewhat. Anyway, this is a photo I made on our ramble, you can just about make out the cliffs through the mist
