I've walked by this path several times so far, but only yesterday I noticed this shining house, or rather the shining lake you can see through the house. I'm not sure, what the building is - or maybe was - used for, but it's most probably related to fishing or boat business.

Driving through the forest in the autumn is the perfect time to catch the falling leaves. This was my favorite shot I took, as the leaves were falling on my windshield.

Change of pace for the next few days as I'll be posting a couple candids from New York. Well, a couple here on flickr and a bunch more on my blog. I didn't want to flood my photostream or blog with two weeks worth of candids, so I am combining them all in two posts. Today's featured image is one I took on my first day there of a very tattooed girl walking down the sidewalk. I was just about on the ground to get this shot! This is a shot of the evening sun as viewed through a tree in my front yard. I'll catch up on commenting tonight or later tomorrow.
Gliding through the charming streets of Brugge, this cyclist embodies freedom of motion—a blur of warmth and purpose against the inviting glow of the city’s cafés. The bike's movement mirrors the heartbeat of a city alive with stories.
This southbound CN freight has just surmounted Byron hill and is rolling by bare trees and a recently plowed field in this November scene in Wisconsin. 11/12/16
While the Depot Village section of town centered around the old commercial block and the grand Union Depot feels like the true heart of town, this spot a few miles north is the old Palmer Town Center. The high school, district court, and town hall are all clustered nearby with the railroad cutting right through the middle.
This was the second to last spot of my Mass Central tour of the line chase. The long train has just crossed Main Street at MP 2.8 and is rolling by this nice open field behind the town hall. This is another classic location on the line that amazingly until this chase I'd never before shot.
MCER GP38-2s 1750 (ex PC 7980 blt. 6/72) and 1751 (ex PC 7997 blt 7/72) are doing the honors with a long 30 car train on this old Boston and Albany branch line.

Passages in a section of the canyon. Sometimes the passage is wide open, and sometimes you really gota squeeze!
The amount of light reflecting off the canyon walls transitions the color from dark purple to bright orange. I accidentally left the polarizer on, but as it turns out, poliarizer actually made the color pop even more.

EPS ( European Passenger Services ) 37's , 37606+37601, head north through Kensington Olympia hauling a Eurostar set. The leading unit on the Eurostar is 3219. Taken on a dull 25th February 1999 at 1429
Under stormy clouds, OBB class 4024 unit (4024 071) passes through Schwaz early on the morning of the 31/7/16 with the 07:34 from Innsbruck to Kufstein. Shortly after this was taken, the weather took a turn for the worse and had to leave the area.
V/Line Clyde/EMD units X51/S317 thread their way through the Adelaide Hills near Nairne with The Overland overnight passenger train from Melbourne on 17 October 1986.
