When I'm afraid, I hold tighter to my faith,
Live another day longer, and I make it
through the rain...
Explored! -- Thanks a lot!
My piece of a GoH collab with several other builders (links coming soon).
I picked the kidnapping scene and so here I am sneaking away with the kid in a gondola in the dead of night!
Initially I had hazy ideas of building a big facade to go behind my gondola, but it took me so long to edit the stuff for my fighting pit that I just started on the gondola today... and by the time I saw how long it was, I threw out the all-LEGO scene idea! So instead this build got the heavy edit treatment. The original photo would probably have a hard time recognizing itself!

My first real droplets reflection picture after morning rain!
I had a hard time to find the plant name since the flower (the tiny yellow mini swirls below the droplet) is almost invisible, especially to the naked eye! (macro photography is so usefull ;) )
A westbound BNSF intermodal train races through Henrietta in full throttle hauling a high-priority load of J.B. Hunt intermodal containers. A heat wave engulfs the entire horizon on this brutal June afternoon.

The Corries brave some pretty rough weather in their little sloop in pursuit of the notorious highwayman, the Red Fandago.
Hey all! My build for the next installment of The Secret of the Eight Provinces, a collaborative storyline captained by Captain Braunsfeld. I was really happy with how this one turned out, but it sure took an awful lot of trans-clear bricks!
Check out the story on EB's Brethren of the Brick Seas (once I post it there in a couple of minutes, that is!), and you can also follow the links there to check out the previous episodes.
Thanks for viewing, C&C welcome as always!

Ex-PRR GP9 ADIX 6076 leads the 10:30 AM departure from Lake Placid, on its way to Saranac Lake as it approaches Route 86, with fall colors in full bloom. Unfortunately it looks like this will be the last autumn in which this, or any train operates on this section of track. The reason for that is that the state of New York has approved a plan to tear out the rails between Tupper Lake and Lake Placid and convert it to a hiking/snowmobile trail. While there are legal challenges to this plan, at the moment it still seems likely that the state's plan will go through and the tracks torn up starting next spring, if not earlier.
CP Transfer G41's UP SD40N's thread their way through the interlocking in Franklin Park as they head for the IHB.
Boat through window, captured at Devil's Lake this Fall with my 11mm Wanderlust Pinwide pinhole lens and a borrowed Olympus OM-D E-M10.
After a lovely walk through the park we stumbled upon these two cuuute wee bunnies hunting for Easter Eggs! Can we keep them??? 😍
This figure is based on her season 3 through 5 appearance.
I made her long lightsaber out of a Lego bar piece that was cut to size. Then I cut off the top of a lego lightsaber and sand it to the shape I wanted.
Her shorter lightsaber was made using a Lego lightsaber cut to size and sanded. I sculpted all the detail on the handles with Procreate.
For the blades I used one of Lego older trans green bar pieces for the short lightsaber, and used their newer green for the long one.
I sanded the torso to be flush with the hip piece and then I added some curves to give it a more feminine look.
The belts are made out of electrical tape. The belt buckle, two cylinders and the lightsaber clips along with the pouch on the back, were made out of procreate. The skirt and sash is made out of a clear vinyl material.
Her head tails or montral was made from an official Lego Ahsoka headpiece.
I sanded it and then sculpted it to look how it does now.
Her Padawan braid that is attached to her headband is just made out of some string.
I painted everything you see.
I spent a lot of time on this one so definitely let me know what you guys think of it!
