Three cs leyland leopard plaxton supreme 53 seater semi automatic splitter (that still works!) seen sitting outside as its been kicked out the barn so the wheat can go in! It will go back in when summer harvest is over! Preservation project maybe?
A departure from the norm here for me, but I really liked the gentle dreamy tones rather than going for full-on intense colour.....
Very awesome light the night I shot this one. I had visited the place a few times but I think I liked this light the best.

I suppose that if you are camera-shy and you see me in a museum that you may want to run for cover. (Or just wait for me to become interested in the exhibits — I'm notorious for taking forever to work my way though museums. Family members have been known to just give up and go find a restaurant to wait for me to finally finish!) In any case, I like to photograph in museums, for the interesting architectural details and light and for the opportunity to watch people doing interesting things and assembling themselves into various compositions.
We were at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMoMA) where we had seen a lot of very interesting stuff. (My favorite was the installation on the top floor by William Kentridge, "The Refusal of Time. I walked into it prepared to be unimpressed, but ended up being very moved by it.) Along the edge of a gallery on a lower floor there was a giant freight elevator door taking up almost all of one wall. One thing about museums is that almost anything seen in such a place has the potential to take on meanings beyond the ordinary, and for some reason this door caught my attention. I did as I often do with such subjects — I waited for people to populate this "intimate urban landscape" so that I could make a few photographs.

I took my stereo rig downtown looking for a photo op. I came across these three ladies who were very curious about the rig. The lady in front, with the Nikon, is from Puerto Rico, and her two good friends are from Argentina.

A night time shot of the pier head in Liverpool, a view of the "Three Graces", being the Royal Liver building, the Cunard building and the Port of Liverpool building. The were all built in the early 20th century and are now part of a UNESCO world heritage site.

This little guy has been hanging out at my in-laws house for several weeks.
It shows up every once in a while to say "hi", then goes back in some hole where it lives.
A nearby water fountain seems to be a good and wet enough habitat for it to be happy and thrive.
Yesterday it jumped out just before a pizza dinner, and posed for me on one of the patio chairs. It was incredibly patient, and allowed me to take many shots at various distances without jumping in my lens.
I am starting to think that I am either very lucky, or that little creatures enjoy having their photos taken :)

After seeing the eggs on display at the Winterton Show, I thought I'd do an egg based still life.
I wasn't sure what the competition was at the show. I'm assuming it was the best looking 3 eggs. I also assume your hen had to lay them.
I don't have a hen but I have an egg box. Luckily we had three eggs left.
Ran across 40+ black vultures. Tricky angles from the car but managed a few clicks. These three posed nicely.

Tiny Key Deer Fawns grazing in a residential neighborhood under the watchful eye of two female deer. I think that two were twins and one was not since he was a little larger. I found them in No Name Key.

I HAD to find some bugs to draw..this is what happens when you go with Irene Brady on her Travel Journals site and see her "Sit Spot" work for 30 days. I would end up an unsightly corpse that all manner of bugs would have attacked..a quick trip out in my yard and voila, some lucky photos to work with...

Beta Three is the second generation of robots capable of AHE or Artificial Human Emotion. The Alpha Two was the first to use it but the hardware was flawed. As AHE evolved into a more advanced pieces of software, the robot needed to be upgraded to be able to run it. This new robot has a head that has artificial muscles integrated into it for more complex emotions. If the muscles dry out they become very brittle and must be replaced. To keep the muscles wet, the entire head is surrounded by a jar-like helmet filled with a special chemical solution. The body of the robot has also been upgraded to be lighter and easier to repair.
