Three hometown friends hang out by the tracks in Nefisit, Eritrea as the morning rail action creates some commotion. They demanded I take their picture. They don't seem to care if they ever see it. Nobody's on social media. But their good spirit is eternalized in these photographs, like throwing a message in a bottle out into the ocean.
The arrival of the train into town is still a huge deal for people who live by the tracks. The sights and sounds of a working steam locomotive were said to capture the undivided attention of generations around the world, and it's nice to see that still applies.
The Metropolitan Building is a high-rise office building located on a triangular lot at 33 John R Street in downtown Detroit, Michigan, near Grand Circus Park.
The building was built in 1924 and finished in 1925. It stands at 15 stories and was once occupied by shops, offices, and the facilities of jewelry manufacturers and wholesalers. It has been known as the "Jeweler's Building". Architects Weston and Ellington designed it in a Neo-Gothic style.[1] It is made mainly with brick, granite, and is sheathed in terra cotta.
The Metropolitan Building closed in 1977.
Three Shires Head is the point on Axe Edge Moor where Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire meet.

Three glasses, two are broken, just left outside where they could catch the rain water and then got some algae.
This time I could catch Radja, one of the cubs (I don't know which one it is) and Joy.
The cub is sharp and the parents are blurry because they stayed behind. But I think it's still cute and that the composition is good. :)
This is my first visit to Clarence Fahnestonck Memorial State Park, located on the eastern side of the Hudson River in New York State, within the Putnam County and the Taconic region. I'm drawn here on this late autumn (with seasonably above average temps), to explore the six marked mines that stand out to me on my park trail-map. 5 named mines as well us one unnamed, all within a reasonable hiking distance from one another, I was ready to take it on, all planned 12.5 miles of it.

Cirque du Soleil (pronounced: [siʁk dy sɔ.lɛj], "Circus of the Sun") is a Canadian entertainment company. It is the largest theatrical producer in the world. Based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and located in the inner-city area of Saint-Michel, it was founded in Baie-Saint-Paul in 1984 by two former street performers, Guy Laliberté and Gilles Ste-Croix.
Initially named Les Échassiers ([lez‿e.ʃa.sje], "The Waders"), they toured Quebec in 1980 as a performing troupe. Their initial financial hardship was relieved in 1983 by a government grant from the Canada Council for the Arts, as part of the 450th anniversary celebrations of Jacques Cartier's voyage to Canada. Le Grand Tour du Cirque du Soleil was a success in 1984, and after securing a second year of funding, Laliberté hired Guy Caron from the National Circus School to re-create it as a "proper circus". Its theatrical, character-driven approach and the absence of performing animals helped define Cirque du Soleil as the contemporary circus ("nouveau cirque") that it remains today.
Each show is a synthesis of circus styles from around the world, with its own central theme and storyline. Shows employ continuous live music, with performers rather than stagehands changing the props. After financial successes and failures in the late 1980s, Nouvelle Expérience was created – with the direction of Franco Dragone – which not only made Cirque du Soleil profitable by 1990, but allowed it to create new shows.
Cirque du Soleil expanded rapidly through the 1990s and 2000s, going from one show to 19 shows in over 271 cities on every continent except Antarctica. The shows employ approximately 4,000 people from over 40 countries and generate an estimated annual revenue exceeding US$810 million. The multiple permanent Las Vegas shows alone play to more than 9,000 people a night, 5% of the city's visitors, adding to the 90 million people who have experienced Cirque du Soleil's shows worldwide. In 2000, Laliberté bought out Gauthier, and with 95% ownership, has continued to expand the brand. In 2008, Laliberté split 20% of his share equally between two investment groups Istithmar World and Nakheel of Dubai, in order to further finance the company's goals. In partnership with these two groups, Cirque du Soleil had planned to build a residency show in the United Arab Emirates in 2012 directed by Guy Caron (Dralion) and Michael Curry. But since Dubai's financial problems in 2010 caused by the 2008 recession, it was stated by Laliberté that the project has been "put on ice" for the time being and may be looking for another financial partner to bankroll the company's future plans, even willing to give up another 10% of his share. Several more shows are in development around the world, along with a television deal, women's clothing line and the possible venture into other mediums such as spas, restaurants and nightclubs. Cirque du Soleil also produces a small number of private and corporate events each year (past clients have been the royal family of Dubai and the 2007 Super Bowl).
The company's creations have received numerous prizes and distinctions, including a Bambi Award in 1997, a Rose d'Or in 1989, three Drama Desk Awards in 1991, 1998 and 2013, three Gemini Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. (Wikipedia)

This picture shows Fu Bao and his mom Yang Yang at lunch. Fu Bao will leave for China on Friday, Nov. 6th.
They say that three is the magic number and by looking at this picture you can certainly see why. Just check out this bevy of beauties who have decided to do a bit of sunbathing top to toe, well i suppose you've got to get it where you can with the British weather being what it is. There we were getting everything ready for the painting session when all of a sudden they all whip their clothes off and march in to the garden. Now I'm not one to complain when lovely ladies take their clothes off so i thought of the old adage if you can't beat them join them and did exactly that.

At suppertime yesterday after these three came through our cove. The two adults are easily seen with their white heads. Their fledgling is sorta halfway below them and sorta halfway up the hill.after a while the adults decided they had sat long enough and left. The young one waited and then lazily drifted across the Arm, a few hundred metres over the water, hardly more than a couple of metres off the surface.
