Making pixel art work on an embroidery machine can be an interesting task. This shirt was a Christmas gift for my good friend Zach. This is one of my all time favorite pieces of threadwork. Four seperate panel designs were needed to actually get it to run on my machine, and don't ask how long it took to put together. The Legend of Zelda is property of Nintendo.

Machine sewn with a fervor, Lestat in Gold and Ivory is a feast of lavish fabrics!
This suit consists of the following:
-1 Long white vest-coat adorned in fine trim. Vest coat is made from white gaberdine and buttons via a single button at center & laces at the sides via hand set brass eyelets. All lacing in pictures will be included.
-1 Double sided hood. Hood is edged with lavish ivory satin brocade which is decked in intricate designs stitched of contrasting gold thread.
- 1 Double sided vest of ivory brocade and gold embroidery. Vest is lined in gold velveteen.
-1 pull over long sleeved tunic of golden velveteen.
-1 pair of faux leather embossed slacks in ivory. Slacks lace at sides via hand set brass eyelets. Organza ribbon is edged in gold.
-1 pair of velveteen slacks in gold, featuring embroidered ivory satin brocade.
-1 belt of ribbon with buckle (seen in picture of vest coat with hood).
-1 belt of of organza ribbon with gold maze threadwork (seen in image of golden velveteen lounge slacks and pull over tunic).
-1 gold plated necklace with brass star burst pendant.

Drawing inspiration from traditional Lucknowi chikankari and fresh spring gardens, a chikan kurti with warm colour palette was created for your stylish look this festive season.
This is called "Love Affair", made by my friend Susan Strachan Johnson, of Rockwood, Ontario.
Theme of the whole exhibition is "Passions"...and Susan remembers how she was crazy for horses when she was a child. She used painted and digital images, hand and machine stitching.
