YAY! I picked up a thread rack tonight at WalMart for all of $10. I've been wanting one of these for a really long time. I think thread looks so pretty and colorful displayed this way. Plus I was able to empty two little plastic storage bins I was keeping my thread in (now I have a place to store other sewing-supplies!).

A Thread-waisted wasp, not sure what kind of bloom that is though. Not sure, but it looks like the poor guy might be missing a leg, too!

all kinds of texture in this one. combo'ed holly's merino x locks with some silky soft mohair locks in a similar colorway. then added sari silk fabric from mandie as well as sari silk threads, batik fabric scraps, silk noils, and silk rods. enjoyed this spin.
