I'm adding 1/4-20 threads to a 1/4" launch rod, so that I can use it with a large tripod, to launch mid-power rockets.

Taken off the beaten track about 90km North East of Serra da Leba Pass in South-West Angola. Still not sure what species this is.
We needed some ubolts to mount the PV wire concentrator box with. We
of course would not find a ubolt suitable for this in my small town.
Instead we purchased two long all thread bolts and smoke made use of a
old propane forge to heat and bend them with.

Threads of different colors really do make good photos as long as the colors compliment each other.
I took this photo in my home made studio at home, and the red background is actually just my normal red mouse pad at home.
I save every thread unless its too short to embroider with.......Now I use the pieces as fillers, using all the color shades as one, ie., all shades of yellow as one yellow--that way I get a random variegation which I like. In Gabby's piece that is how I did it......

Book binders thread
Now I have to think of a binding that will show off the sewn structure. How hard can it be?
Continuing to use items plucked from storage as I organize my attic as subjects for photography.
Today it's small, Japanese spools of metalic thread lying upon a length of Tsumugi silk.
