This is my absolute favorite thread from connecting Threads...they raised the price a bit, but it's worth it for how long one of these lasts.
I bought this pine mini shelving kind of thing (it's probably got a proper name like Helga or Ivan!) from Ikea years ago, but never used it. But now I see why it's true purpose is - to hold reels of thread! ... perfect!

I don't know how often I took photos of this spool of thread for this month's color and then I didn't use it after all because I found something else.
shafts with polished ends, +.000/-.001" and 7/8-14 threads. That's about as precise as we can hit with that lathe.
At an auction I found a big bag full of colour coordinated sewing threads. Of course, I had to get them because of the wonderful colour combos!
