“Thoughts are the shadows of our feelings - always darker, emptier and simpler.”

Thoughts then turned to going to Ascot to catch up with the Northern Belle but a quick divert to Tonbridge as I heard the class 69 was out and about. In the meantime 66776 passes through the station on the Mountfield to Southampton train.
While in the invitation work, I was able to take a quick shot of the riverside near Kenai, Ak. It is easy to take for granted the different types of beauty that this rock we live on has to offer. Having just arrived home from Uganda, Africa, it is nice to see some of the more familiar sights of Alaska. It gives me a nice, fresh appreciation for what I live around.
Not the best example of a nice riverside, but it inspired my Random Thought.

This band was near impossible to photograph but I did however really like them so I thought I'd post something anyway.

Thought about using this as my vanishing point entry but feel its too noisy. Shot with my pocket digital from an open car window- I'm not getting out when the sky looks like this.

Cloudy
The sky is gray and white and cloudy,
Sometimes I think it's hanging down on me.
And it's a hitchhike a hundred miles.
I'm a rag-a-muffin child.
Pointed finger-painted smile.
I left my shadow waiting down the road for me a while.
Cloudy
My thoughts are scattered and they're cloudy,
They have no borders, no boundaries.
They echo and they swell
From Tolstoy to Tinker Bell.
Down from Berkeley to Carmel.
Got some pictures in my pocket and a lot of time to kill.
Hey sunshine
I haven't seen you in a long time.
Why don't you show your face and bend my mind?
These clouds stick to the sky
Like floating questions, why?
And they linger there to die.
They don't know where they are going, and, my friend, neither do I.
Cloudy,
Cloudy
