walking along the seawall path in vancouver opens our eyes to walkers, joggers, bikers, roller bladders and thinkers--------
This charcoal drawing was done on 18x24" poster board. I brushed on the charcoal, let it dry, then pulled the shapes in with an eraser, added gestural lines to complete.
I made this Tag-Card for:

My eldest son engaging in a bit of blue sky thinking (what does that phrase *mean* anyhow?!)
[Replaced photo after some more tinkering in PSP X]
Trying out a bunch of ideas on one card...
Masked off a space for HA Message Bubbles image on soft blue linen CS then stamped HA Friend Definition CG125 stamped in HA Cornflower mid tone ink.
Removed mask and stamped sentiment in Unicorn pigment ink then heat embossed with White Zing powder. (masked off the little puffs from the thought bubble so it would just be a cloud. )
Stamped HA Flower on Light green linen CS, masked it and stamped HA Houndstooth BG - both in HA Olive Green mid tone ink.
Ran green piece through Cuttlebug in a partial die cut with flower die, then trimmed the rest out into a hill.
Stamped flower again on soft yellow linen CS in Butter Bar mid tone ink and Butterfly from same set (Playful Flowers and Butterflies 657778) twice on soft purple linen CS in HA Passionflower mid tone ink.
Die cut the flower and two butterflies.
Pieced yellow bloom onto flower then mounted hill/flower onto blue BG with foam dots.
Layered the two butterflies gluing only at the body and adding a small piece of foam to keep wings up. Adhered to blue panel with glossy accents.
Blue panel is mounted with foam adhesive onto a Neenah Solar White card base.
Still debating whether or not to wrap some yellow twine around the bottom third - near flower's base.
