On a walk around the city catching up on the rebuild and what's happening. On a very cold and dark June day with a Flickr/Blip friend. 2018 Christchurch New Zealand
"and bust in the door and take me away, no more mistakes, cause in your eyes I'd like to stay"
-Katy Perry.
the picture itself has a million words
everytime I fall asleep, there's no one else in my mind but her
The crumpled cloth saying "Thinking Of You" is abstract because, no matter how I try, she can never be with me.
The Color is my fading love for her
so please one more time, let me stay
hehe there. actually I have a lot of meanings in all my photos, I just wanted to share this one
First of all ;
Happy Friday to all (h5) ,,
Second of all ;
i'm thinking to leave flickr & i would like to say to all ppl i'm SORRY if u see any thing bad from me OR i made u upset from me ,,
the reason is ...
i don't know, but i didn't take any good experience from FLICKR cuz every one said your photo is NICE ,,
i really don't think so, there must be a small mistake in the photo, but unfortunately no one say it ,,
i WONT ...
delete it, but i will be un-active ,,
* any one comment in the photo add your self plz *

(i am amazed that this photo turned out because when i got out of the car my glasses fogged up. i couldn't see a thing. i tried to clean them but they kept on fogging up.. it happens here when we go from air conditioning to high humidity. i took this on manual focus and thankfully it turned out.. because I could not see!)

After I finished my class at the International Center of Photography (ICP) on a Saturday afternoon in late March 2014, I arranged to meet my wife for dinner at a wonderful little restaurant in Greenwich Village called Alexandra's (no, I won't tell you where: Google it if you're curious).
That required taking the IRT subway from Times Square down to Sheridan Square in Greenwich Village -- just a couple blocks from where I first lived when I arrived in NYC back in 1968.
This shot -- after I took a bunch of photos up the street the Big Gay ice cream shop (photographed in a separate Flickr set here: www.flickr.com/photos/yourdon/sets/72157642870169664/ ) -- was taken near the corner of Grove Street and Hudson Street, right next door from the restaurant where we had dinner.
Despite the long time spent photographing (as well as several other stops at Bleecker Street, Bedford Street, and Barrow Street (jeez, if you can't figure out where Alexandra's is at this point, you should cash in your chips and go home!), I was still early arriving at the restaurant. But that's okay: it gave me a chance to sit quietly, observe the interesting people on the street, and take another bunch of photos...
Note: I chose this as my "photo of the day" for April 2, 2014.
Note: shortly after I uploaded this photo, two of my loyal Flickr friends "faved" it -- so I've changed its status from a restricted "friends & family" to "public."
Note: this photo was published in an Oct 7, 2014 Business Insider blog titled "6 Crucial Style Rules For Guys In Their 20s." And it was published in an Oct 15, 2014 Business Insider blog titled "10 Things Every Man Should Add To His Wardrobe After College."
Moving into 2015, the photo was published in a Jan 5, 2015 Business Insider blog titled " 14 Big Fashion Mistakes That Men Make."
This cyclist apologised as she came into frame thinking she had spoilt my picture, but I was actually crouched down waiting for her because she was the picture :)! It was taken on Nine Barrow Down in the Purbecks.
Just to explain my previous picture as there seems to be some confusion as to what it is - it is the inside of a church photographed from the outside through a window.
