This is a t-shirt design for the Save Trapper campaign, an effort to raise awareness about 149 acres of regrowth forest around Eugene, Oregon slated to be cut very soon. Endangered spotted owls live there, and the drinking water in Eugene would be severely tainted from a clear cut of this size. Visit savetrapper.blogspot.com for more information.
A little person making a living on the street as a still life artist in Tempe, Arizona. After working with this photo and the previous photo (which has the explanation of context), I find there are few words to add to describe this portrait.
Someone has to have moved this sign - this is NOT a playing field - it's a sculpture garden.
Also, if there's a sign that's been moved from the playing fields - isn't that what you're supposed to do on them - Play? So why would you need a sign saying to keep off? I mean doesn't that defeat the purpose of a playing field - if you can't play on it - then it's technically NOT a playing field?

41/365. 26/10/08. Think About It recorded live at the BBC in 1968. And the album version. I think I prefer the live version but both show off those flying fingers to great effect. Great riff. Parts of the solo were to be used again in Dazed and Confused.
This is my first chance to upload a few images from BM - I hope to get more online each day this week as I am able to.
Hunter Patch Adams:
So what now, huh?
What do you want from me?
[looks down over the cliff]
Yeah, I could do it. We both know you wouldn't stop me.
So answer me please. Tell me what you're doing.
Okay, let's look at the logic.
You create man. Man suffers enormous amounts of pain. Man dies.
Maybe you should have had a few more brainstorming sessions prior to creation.
You rested on the seventh day. Maybe you should've spent that day on compassion.
[looks down over the cliff once more]
You know what. You're not worth it.

Hunter Patch Adams: [to Carin]
I love you not knowing how, why, or even from where.
I love you straightforwardly without complexities or pride.
I love you because I know no other way then this.
So close that your hand, on my chest, is my hand.
So close, that when you close your eyes, I fall asleep.

Hunter Patch Adams:
What's wrong with death sir? What are we so mortally afraid of?
Why can't we treat death with a certain amount of humanity and dignity,
and decency, and God forbid, maybe even humor.
Death is not the enemy gentlemen.
If we're going to fight a disease,
let's fight one of the most terrible diseases of all,
indifference.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1) DEATH, to die, to expire, to pass on, to perish, to peg out, to push up dasies,
to push up posies, to become extinct, curtins, desceased, demised, departed and defunct, dead as a doornail, dead as a herring, dead as mutton, dead as nits , the last breath, paying a debt to nature, The Big Sleep, God's way of saying:Slow down.... ......to check out ,To shuffle off this mortal coil ,To head for the happy hunting ground
,To blink for an exceptionally long period of time, To find oneself without breath,
To be The Incredible Decaying Man, Worm Buffet , Kick the bucket ,
By the farm, Take the cab, Cash in your chips
AND if we bury you ass-up we'll have a place to park my bike.
see what no one else sees,
see what everyone else chooses not to see
...out of fear, conformity or laziness.
see the world anew each day!
Accused of spilling a glass of milk at the dinner table, this poor fellow was called before a board of inquisition -- one of those epedemic committees -- to answer some pretty hard questions. And just because he was a sweet little toy!
Cursive handwriting has been omitted from the Common Core State Standards, the new curriculum standard that more than 40 states adopted last summer, the Associated Press reports.
Typically taught in third and fourth grade, cursive is already disappearing in some classrooms. With students widely using computers or text messages instead of hand-writing their communications, teachers are choosing to spend less time teaching script.
Call me old-fashioned but I can't wrap my mind around this!
Can't seem to loop the logic of it.
There is none to be found here.
How are we gonna leave notes for them, say:
lunch is in the fridge or don't forget to turn in your homework.
How about 'I love you' pinned to the inside of the jacket.
Can a text do the same?
I tend to offer an opinion or suggestion to some things. I'm met sometimes with a retort "When Cows Fly"..
what's that.. it's said "When Pigs Fly?".. never mind then.
