Not visible by any roads---Illilouette Fall is tucked in Illiloutte Creek Canyon below Glacier Point and eludes most visitors. The obscure fall delights those on the way down from Glacier Point on the Panorama Trail.
It was pretty cold on this night..and one of the harder hikes i had with a full pack on, did I mention it was COLD!?!?!?!

Difficult to find Flowers, Trees and other Flora in big citys. Often they are jailed in some kind of cement or wire.
There are some good projects in New York, I think, where they made an old Trainstation in some kind of "City-Garden".
Thanks for the favs, views and following me!
For my English speaking friends: "Denkmal" means memorial/landmark, but in German also "Think!". The unknown artist added the German word "nach" and so we get the message "Think about it!"
The sticker is the emblem of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, with marks historical houses.

Published in Y Sin Embargo #19, super#Fissue: the conventional and the empty/emptied gesture. The effects of a centrifugal and hypocritical, forgetful and self-referential society, in permanent escape, where nobody raises a matter or questions anything anymore.
Many thanks to fernandoprats and YSE team.
Don't kid yourself, I am not a lady.
Please listen. There's room left in the house. There's food still in the pantry. I could fix you lunch or take you out for coffee.

EXPLORE #18 - Thank You so much!!!
Through the dancing poppies stole a breeze most softly lulling to my soul. (John Keats)
Especially uploaded for the 24h thread, where we are all sharing our "POPPIES" photos with The World Through My Eyes.
I had such a choice of poppies that I am thankful for having found 'an excuse' to upload a shot… More to come (sometime soon).
I would like to dedicate this poppy to Horst in California (hb19)
Although we should all hate him because there isn't a day where he's not showing up (not off….) on Explore and although I find his work in just about every group I am ever invited to, I am greatly enjoying looking at his portfolio. BRAVO, dear friend - and may you inspire us much longer with your pixies.

ODC-Think About It
I bought some chicken tenders and had a couple of options as to what to do with them. I thought I'd coat them in cornflakes for a change. It was very tasty!
"The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider streets, but narrower viewpoints; we spend more, but have less; we buy more but enjoy it less.
We have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time; we have more degrees, but less sense; more knowledge, but less judgement; more experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry too quickly, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life; We've added years to life, not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less; we plan more, but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but, lower morals.
We build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication; We've become long on quantity, but short on quality.
These are the days of two incomes, but more divorce; of fancier houses, but broken homes.
These are the days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw away morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill.
Where are we heading ....?"

"To advance sonic possibilities is the key in making of new and different electronic music. We use sound as dynamic weapon, it's a force that disturbs through its detachment from the visual or the knowable, symbolically acting on the imagination like infiltrating and destabilizing power." ODC-Think About It
I've put a lot of thought into this section of the front yard. I knew I wanted an herb garden right away, so we put that in, then I got the wind spinner, then the sun dial and lastly a new patio and Bistro set. Once the patio was set up I could get the flower pots. I like the result and it really added to the curb appeal of the house.
There's something about looking at this everyday that pushes me to actually work out or something over the summer. I mean, once I graduate, what else is there to do?
Fun facts about my belly button!
-This thing is not decorative at all. It's really more of a hole than anything else.
-When I sit down, it vanishes! (It becomes a line across my stomach instead)
-That heart shape I made with my hands was totally unintentional. I swear

These murals were painted by children under supervision of an artist Patrix Blaise.
Theme is "global warming" . Painting was finished feb 2009 when it was covered with an anti-tagging coating. The fresco is 60 meters long and 2 meters high.
Belgica station was named after the vessel Belgica which made history for being the first expedition to survive an Antarctic winter (1897-1899)

The subway station itself has been redocorated completely in 2009 on the theme of Global warming.
