Looking splendid this evening 😊

My standby shot for today's 365 because we're going geocaching this morning in the Brecon Beacons - after the rain we've had if late, I'm not too sure how my Eiona mobile will cope with the terrain.

I'll try my hand at anything at the moment! This was the night before the super moon.

Moon Photo, 22nd February 2021

Taken with Panasonic LUMIX DC-G9 Camera, and LUMIX Leica DG VARIO-ELMAR 100-400mm Lens, Dual OIS enabled. Hand-held. (Cropped)

A series of photos about different phases of the moon,

Lune du 13 août 2019.

Ce qui est incroyable c'est que l'on puisse voir exactement la même lune tout autour de la terre. : )

What is amazing is that you can see exactly the same moon all around the earth. :)

It's absolutely throwing it down here in London & blowing a serious gale! But I managed to capture these #SnowMoon #supermoon shots early this morning before #StormCiara rolled in, all shot handheld with my Canon EOS 70D & Sigma 150-600mm lens😊 #StormHour #astrophotography

Despite not being full, the moon looked enormous during the blue hour tonight. It caught my eye through the trees in the backyard.

It was sad to see all these brownish hills instead of fresh wild flowers at Hurricane Ridge. This year has been so dry that all the flowers burned out in spring. There was haze over the mountains from wildfires. Very unusual landscape for this time of the year. I saw several photographers waiting for the Moon to rise. I decided to stay there. It was spectacular when the Moon came up from behind the mountains. It was worth staying in that amazing place.

The moon was visible from the back yard Sunday night, so I had to try to take a picture.

Moon Phase for Sunday May 28th was the Waxing Gibbous phase.

It was a pleasure to look at the night sky with the moon in it.

©Lela Bouse-McCracken ::: Apparently the full moon is actually tomorrow night. However this moon which was almost full last night...was in the right place at the right time. ;-) I was far enough away from the ridge for it to work....I tried again tonight, but was too close to (a different) ridge...so you get the infamous "Last Night's Moon." ...otherwise known as an almost full moon. lol :-)

I appreciate the thought, but ***Please no invites or personal icons in the

The moon, setting at about 6.15 am

Captured at approx. 9.30pm last evening looking WSW over the Swansea Valley. You'd have thought that we had good weather today but to the contrary - we have the typical Swansea Valley damp 'n drizzlies, the kind of rain that creeps into every nook and cranny of your sinews and bones.

I captured this very early this morning therefore being bleary eyed, I gave it a lesser crop than usual. I chose this as my Photo a Day because when I did go outside after breakfast , I found it too slippery underfoot for my own safety. I've also got a ZOOM meeting lunchtime so it's a day at home for me anyway

Once again, I blinked and missed his rising over the hillside so this was taken a few minutes later.

Looking south over the Swansea Valley

Could ask for better atmospheric conditions. minimal temp inversions at alt.. Also being home with family and stuffed with turkey made it more enjoyable..
