Tonight's moonrise as it peeped over the Swansea Valley looking NE. Totally unexpected after a rainy day but it was also a 'blink before you miss it ' because It then disappeared into the clouds.

An empty street with an autumnal vibe. The moon added som extra moodiness to the evening.

On my second morning looking for Comet Neowise I decided to drive the half hour to Mono Lake to try my luck. When I arrived I couldn't see the comet but took this photograph looking East with what I thought would only be a shot with the Moon and Venus over the lake. When I looked at my LCD screen I was surprised to see Neowise right over my favorite Tufa formation! Better lucky then good I always say. ;)

So I woke up at 4:30 AM to photograph the Total Eclipse of the Moon this morning, here in London, England & firstly it appears I should have gotten up a tad earlier because by that time totality had almost been reached!!! The other problem was the hazy clouds, which weren't that much of a problem to begin with, but by the time totality hit, the moon completely clouded over!!! So that was that..:( Oh well, at least I managed to get something & at least I didn't have to spend thousands of pounds travelling to an area where totality was taking place, I only had to travel 10 feet into the back garden lol 😎😎😎😎

You need a bit of lateral thinking to figure this caption out... 😉Such an oppressive night that i was sitting by my open window gazing out , the next thing the clouds dispersed and well it would have been rude to ignore it . A clue as to the caption - July's full moon is also known as The Buck moon and it's buildings up nicely to it

At 95.5% Illumination looking West over the Swansea Valley . A bit of a misty one at that.

This was taken on a clear night outside my house Tamworth, UK, I took this using a Nikon D3400 DSLR and a Nikon 50mm lens. This was me experimenting with Night Photography for the first time.

I set myself up to finish the puzzle in the garden this morning and happened to look up. A lovely morning moon

Taken from my back window at 6.25 am today and what a difference in two days . e.g. the high winds that we had yesterday have died down, our son who'd been laid poorly with Covid tells me that he's fit and well to go into work tomorrow so all is well in my world - but I sat there as the moon set in the West and the sun rose in East being thankful, counting my blessings and thinking of other places in the world such as the people living in the Ukraine and other war torn countries...

My standby shot for today's 365 because we're going geocaching this morning in the Brecon Beacons - after the rain we've had if late, I'm not too sure how my Eiona mobile will cope with the terrain.

I'll try my hand at anything at the moment! This was the night before the super moon.
