There is a man on the Moon. And he is taking pictures. I had the amazing opportunity to be on Mauna Kea one night, a very cold night. I was shooting the stars, and it was very dark. There were other's along with me, some taking photographs as well. This gentleman was standing in front of me, but I did not see him. While reviewing my shots in Lightroom, I saw him in this shot. I was really surprised.

Looking WSW over the Swansea Valley.

I hadn't intended filling my photo stream with any more moon shots for a while and I took this solely as a banker shot for my PoTD , but my world since then turned even more crazier than it is when the Postman arrived with a package of forms to fill in, a paper for a blood test which I must book online due to Covid restrictions - all in prep to see if I'm ok to take a drug called Fampyra aka Fampridine for my MS ( multiple sclerosis)

So I managed to capture the Waxing Crescent Moon in London last night, minus Venus..which was too low down, so I had buildings in the way.:(

Was woken by the most glorious sunrise this morning,Went into my back bedroom to get my camera and captured this beauty instead- a 74% of full waning moon.

Since the sky has been so cloudy I wasn't able to photograph the moon this past week, so I got one for myself, now I can take a photo of it anytime I want.

A 90 . 03% Waxing Gibbous Moon taken through a veil of mist and looking SE over the Swansea Valley

I noticed this rise over the Swansea Valley half an hour before this and it wasn't too difficult to stay awake longer to get this for my Photo a Day due to the oppressive heat indoors.

The aircraft was Just to low for me better luck next time I hope.
