This is not the real thing I just turned the Super Moon red in my computer because my sky got overcast and could not take photos of it. Let's see how many read this description. :-)

It is a composite of two images. The Moon was not full at the time when I was taking pictures of the mountain. The picture of the Moon was taken at different time. I call this image my dream picture.

Took a few pics of the Super Blood Wolf Moon this evening - besides star traces I've never tried to photograph the moon or stars - took some experimenting but was fun. Top shot shows the moon as the eclipse first started - bottom when its was almost fully eclipsed.
