Stay safe my friends!
This week's theme is trash ( rubbish ) something destined for the bin. I have chosen the colourful wrappings of miniature chocolate Easter eggs.

For Macro Monday, Aug 14
Theme: high key
I'm deeply saddened by the events over the weekend and felt the need to speak of love in a visual art form, so I combined the MM theme with the message.
Love,
Dee

Fallen. In the park/forest/pnd across the street many apple trees are loosing there fruit. The Geese and the insects Luv it.
When I started to photograph flowers and insects were what I photographed the most. Over the years my choice clearly shifted to other stuff.
Did you experience such a change in your photography style as you well?
I wonder what will come next for me 😉
Smile on Saturday theme REFLECTIONS IN A SPOON. I have two shiny tea spoons laying on a white board. Cookie is looking down at them and is reflected in the spoons. Happy Smile on Saturday the old photographer.
Continuing the theme of "quirky Indiana", today's feature is this old Impala sitting on the top of a metal tower.
One may ask "why", and I don't have an answer. But this is (or was) part of a menagerie of unusual stuff that included a vintage motel sign, old railroad cars and junk trucks. All located at a train station that was converted into a seafood restaurant. The business has since closed and to my understanding most of this stuff have been removed from the property. I'm not sure if this car is still there or not!
Charlestown, Indiana
UPDATE: Unfortunately this car (and everything else) has been removed from the property as of 10/2021.

Einen schönen Dienstag euch allen !

Captain's log, stardate 6102.1. While investigating a distress call from a star cluster in the Protari system our ship, the U.S.S. Constitution and its crew, were pulled into a mysterious tractor beam. All data shows that we've somehow been transported to another dimension.
Myself, Captain Jezebel Kraai along with Science Officer Cidni Starchild, Chief Engineer Harper Blackwood, and Lieutenant Moran have set foot on what appears to be a post apocalyptic world. The surface appears to be like our own Earth and so far we're reading no life forms.
Could this be Earth and could we have somehow traveled back in time? Is this the year 2231, just after the first nuclear strikes of World War III? I will update when we have more data. Kraai out.
I appreciate these wonderful ladies and fellow artist for helping me out on this one. It's been a long time coming as this shot was actually taken this past May.
I was sort of baffled about what I wanted to do with this capture then decided to do a fantasy composite with it. So this is my first try at this sort of thing. I hope you guys find it at least adequate. Thanks!♥
This the 4th capure I inducted to the In Good Company Erotica Gallery for their October show.
The gallery is owned and operated by my friend Marcus Strong. Thank you so much Marcus for the oppotunity.♥
For the new Mocro Monday theme I searched for beetles and bugs in the garden but couldn't find some. I think It's to cold or maybe I searched at the wrong place. Because I didn't find any bug in the garden I decided to search for a beetle made of sheetmetal ;-) I found three different ones.
I wish everyone a Happy Macro Monday and a nice start into the new week :-)
My choice for the "Macro Mondays" "Redux 2018 Theme :"Flame"
A Very Happy and Peaceful Christmas to you all
This image was captured for the Macro Mondays theme: "Edge".
From this exercise, I learnt that drips drop much faster than you might expect!
Macro Mondays theme In Ice
A simple image of a frozen snow drop.
I experimented with various ideas until I gave I up. The trouble with ice is that it has a tendency to melt and by the time you get to a subject or composition that you like it's all over and gone.
After a few days of messing around and sad news coming in that my Godmother had been taken gravely ill with the virus, I found this solitary snow drop that I had frozen last week. It seemed quite apt under the circumstances.
This photo is dedicated to all those who have lost loved ones to this awful virus.
HMM
[The width of the ice cube is 3cm, the overall image is around 7cm and within the MM requirements.]
At Pashley Manor Gardens you will discover 11 acres of beautiful borders and vistas – the culmination of a lifetime of passion for gardening, an appetite for beauty and an admiration of the tradition of the English Country garden. These graceful gardens, on the border of Sussex and Kent, are family owned and maintained – visitors often express delight at the attention to detail displayed throughout and the intimate, peaceful atmosphere.
All the ingredients of the English Country Garden are present – sweeping herbaceous borders, ha-ha, well maintained lawns, box hedges, espaliered rose walk, historic walled garden, inspiring kitchen garden, venerable trees and the Grade I listed house as a backdrop. The gardens are a haven for wildlife – bees, butterflies and small birds as well as moor hens, ducks and a black swan. Then, of course, the plants! Borders overflowing with perennials and annuals – the look changing through the seasons, but always abundantly filled, and each garden ‘room’ planted in a different colour theme.
Pashley is also renowned for fantastic displays of tulips, roses and dahlias. Our annual Tulip Festival features more than 48,000 tulips this year! During Special Rose Week over a hundred varieties of rose swathe the walls, climb obelisks and bloom in flower beds. Then in late summer our Dahlia Days event transforms the gardens once more with bountiful, brightly coloured dahlias in every border and pot.
Add to all this a Café and Terrace with excellent garden views, serving delicious homemade lunches, scones and cakes; Sculpture and Art Exhibitions; a Gift Shop with Plant Sales; and a friendly, knowledgeable team waiting to welcome you, and the recipe for a wonderful day out is complete.
