I got third place for this image in the Greystones Camera Club. Subject was Texture.

I couldn't get a happy medium between the flash lighting the books and getting the harsh light on it. But I'm getting there. I'm getting to like my speed light.

 

Works much better with a black background (hit L)

 

It's also my first time using my logo (suggestions welcome). I think a Grey version my need to be made. I have a black already.

phew, managed to recover my data from my iBook (currently suffering a bad case of illogicboardistis). Felipe did a wonderful job of dissecting the computer and putting it back together. Total time to extract data: 4 hours!
