Lately I've been very interested in creating abstracts through camera movement....the editing process for me is equally as fun and enjoyable as actually taking the picture. Through the editing process you can actually begin to see what you envisioned in your mind when you took the shot. Sometimes I like to push it just a bit further than I should just to see what happens.

More macro practice today with the Pentax K1. I believe that you can use a crop lens on a full frame body with no problems.

what i love the most about swimming is floating, watching the sky, and feeling at peace with the world.

this is a bad picture so many things wrong with it, but it works. its interesting and well since my pics have been a bit boring as of late...

Im sure in its day, the top of this pedestal was very nice! But, now it is aged, and makes for a good texture, I think!

our last two weeks have been cold and gray. each year, i underestimate the impact of gray days. the impact on my psyche and my photography. i love light. it energizes me.

the sun made a brief appearance this morning. and i savored that ball of goodness in the sky.

build up from several layers, please do use and let me know or rever or something or just use it and be happy !

Put an island in the middle of the tropical bit of an ocean (here Reunion Island in the middle of Indian Ocean).

Make it receive tons of sunlight and tons of rain.

Fill it with a hot and moist atmosphere before you also fill it with mountains with sides just less vertical than walls.

There you go. You have it.

Impenetrable.

Also, it may look like a giant mess but it has to be another perfect natural organisation where, if you remove one element, the entire assemble may collapse.

Pretty much like me after trekking there for over a week.

I've been asked by a group to upload one of my own textures...that's all this is. I probably use stone textures more than anything else. I usually stack and partially erase several texture layers to achieve one image.

To those who've asked, sure, it's free to use.
