Now, this is the kind of thing you do on holiday at midnight when you've had a bottle of wine and you think its quite clever and then you get home a month later and realise that in fact you're an idiot.
There comes a day when you get sick and tired of having your common sense and abilities called into question three days a week and your soul sucked out of you for the sake of a part-time job that not only REQUIRES you to have a working car and a cel-phone that sends and receives text messages (unreimbursed) but has actually given you shingles and driven you into debt in the bargain. There comes a day, after four-and-a-half years, when you grow a spine, get fed up, tell the boss what the lay of the land is, write a resignation letter, leave the office keys on the office desk, lock the place up, walk out the door without any other job lined up, and start concentrating on the freelance art career you really want. This was that day.

How did we all ever survive without it????????
Anyway, here, my granddaughter was only playing with her mum's phone, pretending, it was great fun!
Children are great at pretending and expressing their feelings freely, until they grow up and either loose that ability or become performers? LOL

Since September of 2007, text messaging has increased 60%, making it a hayday for lawyers hunting down a digital trail of adultery and spousal abouse. The text don't lie.
Like Peter Pan, we don't see our digital shadow until it is pointed out to us. Now days, it seems to loose one's cell phone is to experience a personal death. We are cut off from the world. Thank goodness, for social networking! "When God closes one door, there is bound to be a window open somewhere." I recently read on a friend's wall he was in Utah and cellphone less.... but don't worry friendsters, he can still update his facebook status!
Our cell phones are like our second skin. Increasingly we are more comfortable sharing our intimate thoughts through texting and social networking than talking. But if you want to avoid hurting the ones you love, use caution with the digital permanence of you passions.

Britain has become one of the more aggressive countries in attacking the use of cellphones while driving. While using cell phone handsets while driving is illegal, strict laws are coming into place for texting while driving. On Nov 20, 2007, Victoria McBryde was killed by a sober texter. Although Phillipa Curtis had not yet replied to a text message she received while driving, she was distracted for 300 meters and crashed into McBryde's Fiat at 60 miles per hour.

I know it seems cliche and what not but I was really not happy or feeling it today.
No one would text me back. And I barely see my friends. I just feel so lonely when it comes to having friends. But I am glad I have an amazing boyfriend.

While at work this evening the power went out. Granted, from the storm that has been going on all day, it was kinda inevitable. This was the text message that one of my co-workers got shortly after the store went black and, somewhat, quiet. The kitchen staff, of course, celebrated, with me concluding our little fanfare with: "Take Out!" That was followed by some laughter.
The power company said that the electricity would be restored by 8pm. So, the closers (myself included) and assistant stuck around until about 9pm, just making sure that if the power came on we were ready to take orders.
Around 11pm, the power came back on, after 5 hours of being out.

I was going to post a photo of the dog I took for my day 22 as but I thought it would be fitting to post a wee announcement of grandbaby number 10 instead.
Although I would have prefered to post a shot I took myself of Mr Ethan Michael Scott Wilkinson (who weighed in at a whopping four pounds fifteen ounces this morning at 8:43) but we will be getting to see him sooner than later no doubt so a gangie photo will be forthcoming.
