A view of Berlin from a tethered hot air balloon called "Die Weltballon. For 20 Euros, you could take a 15 min "flight" to a height of 150 metres.

"Grassholm (Welsh: Gwales or Ynys Gwales) is a small uninhabited island situated 13 kilometres off the southwestern Pembrokeshire coast in Wales, lying west of Skomer. It is the westernmost point in Wales other than the isolated rocks on which the Smalls Lighthouse stands. Grassholm is known for its huge colony of northern gannets; the island has been owned since 1947 by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, and is one of its oldest reserves.

Grassholm National Nature Reserve is the third most important site for gannets in the world, after two sites in Scotland: St Kilda and Bass Rock. It serves as a breeding site for 39,000 pairs of the birds, and supports around 10 percent of the world population. The turbulent sea around Grassholm is a good feeding area for porpoises and bottlenose dolphins." (Wikipedia, edited)

Spacewalking is a little like rock climbing in that everything, including and especially oneself, must be tethered or docked at all times. If you forget to tether a tool, it's gone. Ditto yourself.

I had a dream last night in which all of one's negative thoughts were tied to them like a tether and put on display.

It was a weird dream but inspired this image which turned out almost exactly how I had sketched which is always nice!

Walk: Mersea Island, Essex..This east-coast island, tethered to the mainland of Britain by a haunted causeway, is a wildlife haven in early spring, where seals exult, sea plants thrive and butterflies dance..Covering roughly seven square miles, Mersea Island off the coast of Essex is the UK’s most easterly inhabited island. Evidence of a pre-Roman settlement has been found here, and legend has it that a Roman centurion haunts the Strood, the road that links the island to the mainland.

It’s a land of two halves: you’ll find restaurants and cafés in West Mersea, offering the oysters and shellfish that the island is famous for, as well as a vineyard selling locally produced wine. While East Mersea is all salt marshes and farmland, fantastic for a stiffly breezy, cobweb-clearing spring walk

Waiting for their owner to finish shopping, saw these 2 dogs anxiously waiting outside a store. Taken in West Vancouver, BC on a cold winter day in 2017, but without the snow. Looks like a Golden Labrador dog and a small black Bull Terrier. They are minding each other, I guess, while patiently waiting.

I was just honestly playing around with this one. I'll let you guys interoperate the meaning behind it. ;)

The whole tethering ring.

Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)

way better

Be prepared for more updates soon! Slowly getting back into the flow of things.

If I haven't really introduced these two yet, their names (from left to right) are Aya and Maria. They both go to OCADU with me. Aya is in the faculty of art studying Sculpture and Installation art; Maria is in the same faculty as me but studying Graphic Design. It was the first time we (Ker and I) asked these 2 to model for us. They were fantastic! Hopefully they'll tag along with us for an outdoor shoot soon. Here's Ker's take with these 2 and 1 other friend.

hope you're all doing dandy!
