Tried out the Oil Paint filter of my new Photoshop CS6 software. This new feature of Photoshop makes a photo look like an oil painting, as can be seen above.

My theme for my third college project was 1920's flapper (google it!). I did a practice shoot on my Sister, Louise. The final shoot will be on my little cousin next weekend. Here are the ideas....

This image is a test. Trying to test different poses and ideas to see what works best.
A shot using the regular popup flash on the Nikon D90 (left), then with the Lightscoop diffuser attached. Pretty nice. I'm thinking a lot more indoor shots are in my future.
Testing out the basic astrophotography setup. This was taken from in the city and there was a bit of atmospheric disturbance but it's something to build on.

Big state science test today for 5th grade. My students are used to seeing my silly side. Ok... so are my friends. Oh, and also my family. Hee Hee! Just can't hide it.
Fujicolor Pro 400H, home developed (which is apparently why it looks like shit), run through my Pentax 67.
Test image of the iPhone 15 main camera on full ProRAW, 76BM file. The photo is un-edited in Adobe Lightroom with all sliders set to 0. The focus point was set between the two windows on the first floor.
My friend Raad stands on top of an old hut built on the peak of Mt. Adams. Now dilapidated and filled with snow and ice, it makes a decent spot to sit down off of the snow after summiting. The sky at that elevation takes on a very dark blue hue, very cool! Elev. 12,280 feet. Washington, USA.
I've moved the Speed Graphic to the office where I'll be able to dedicate some time to it. With the original test bellows not a million miles away from what I need, I've laid it in place. The next test will need proper measurements though.
