Big state science test today for 5th grade. My students are used to seeing my silly side. Ok... so are my friends. Oh, and also my family. Hee Hee! Just can't hide it.

The battery for my Polaroid Automatic 220 came in today, and the Polaroid 690 film I won on ebay not too long ago came in the other day, so today I learned more about my camera then took a test shot.
It worked.
And that's so exciting. The film expired in 2007, but it doesn't look that bad. This is just underexposed because I should've set it to 'lighten' more. Anyways, I haven't posted anything in forever because it gets dark at like three, and it sucks. I don't like it.
Hopefully there will be more to come from this camera. Better stuff, not just test shots. I'm so excited that it turned out though. You have no idea.

Atomic Testing Museum documents the work conducted at the Nevada Test Site and its impact on the nation. This interactive museum houses artifacts on loan from personal collections, the Smithsonian Institution, Lawrence Livermore Laboratory and pieces of the Berlin wall and World Trade Centers.
Shortly before he took off, I got this picture of him testing his wings. He did fly off so I hope he will be okay. At least he didn't get stepped on or swept away by a broom!
TEST LA, organized by the AHF Fall 2015 Interns, focused on reaching out to the Hollywood community, breaking down stigma associated with HIV/AIDS testing, and increasing awareness about the importance of knowing your status. The bit grainy LCD display is just not enough for me to view the shots taken. The best good thing is its light weight...

I have just bought a used 300mm F4 non IS canon lens..
So I took a couple fo test shots on the way home from work..
Just wanted to see if it was any good...
being non IS and 20 years old... these test shots were all hand held..

image of the day and a quick test of my new portable backdrop. very slight adjustment to the brightness and contrast gives a perfect black (i.e. 0, 0, 0, 255) across the board. just need to sort out my lighting now (oh and tidy myself up a bit!)
So there's some funny cropping on this camera as you can see. The final image is almost square within the whole frame.
There's actually more sharpness and detail than I expected, but ultimately this demonstrates why I'd not use this camera for regular shooting. Not consistent enough, and the camera isn't close to as easy to use as my Nikon F.
