LGM-118A Peacekeeper missile system being tested at the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.

This is a time-lapse photo showing the paths of the multiple re-entry vehicles deployed by the missle. One Peacekeeper can hold up to 10 nuclear warheads, each independently targeted. Were the warheads armed with a nuclear payload, each would carry with it the explosive power of twenty-five Hiroshima-sized weapons.

Test roll 1 from the Canon EOS 3. There's a bit of a learning curve, but all in all, I'm happy with the purchase. My portraits from this roll turned out the best.

There does seem to be a tendency to overexpose, which I'll need to work on.

I use the carrier as a test stand to hold rollers for running the locomotive in a stationary position. The hose on the stack is connected to a fan to provide a draft. In this testing session I set the popping pressure of the safety valves and ran the engine briefly on steam.

Test 2 on my new lens. This isn't the greatest or sharpest photo in the World (and its a gull - not an eagle), but he bird was on a post in the water at quite a distance (well over 200 feet away). FYI, the lens was zoomed to 500mm and then the pic was cropped from 2 bird/post combos to one, followed by adjustments to colour, white balance & sharpening. So the lens did pretty well - plus, nice bokeh.

Here are the specs:

Quick test which hints at cheap filters being a pain for night shots. I might test it on a day shoot before giving the world a chance to buy it off me on ebay.

I must point out the shortcomings of this test. Only one sample of each filter was used, and only tested on one lens for one exposure, and clearly the better performances were in different lighting conditions (though I think flare and ghosting would be more likely with a darker background/higher contrast).

First test of a pinhole camera that I built. Needs some refinement for sure, will be making Mkii soon.

The test consisted of three parts: first, listening to beeps and pressing a button when she heard something, then listening to and repating words and last, again listening to beeps but then the beeps are transmitted via the bone (skull).

Many car manufacturers test their car's winter characteristics here in Swedish Lapland during January through March.

The cars are often camouflaged, but this car only has camouflage on the sides.

They have no model names visible.

Tested the close up attachment.. not a fan. I mean I see the fondness of it, but lining up the composition holding it 10cm out, yeah I’ll pass 😂

This was in Alkesh's fortune cookie at lunchtime. Ironically, the only reason we were in that restaurant was that we'd been late going to lunch because we were trying to get some tests to pass so we could check in the story we were working on for the Mano a Mano project in the Agile2007 RailsFest.

There's nothing more humiliating than a blood test,

Had one today and thought I would die.

It was less than the best, I do not jest.

I passed out, wet myself and started to cry.

--------------------------------

I hate blood tests. No, scratch that. I abhore them....intensely.

It's always been bad ever since I can remember.

I was always passing out as a kid. Blood would set me off. Pain. Even illness would have me crumpling to the floor. I am a pro at spotting "I'm going to pass out now" signs. Rushing ears. Vision fading to black. Sweating.

Of late, though, the passing out has gotten bad, to the point that when I'm coming to I don't know where I am. And usually there are 2 or 3 worried faces staring down at me.... which doesn't help matters.

"Things can't get worse than that" I hear you say.

Oh yes they can...!

This time, to my utter shame, I wet myself. The last time I ever did this I was about 4 and was sleeping between my mom and dad and dreamt I went to the loo.

Sitting there in the hospital this morning, was one of the most humiliating experiences in my whole life. I wanted to die. I still want to die. I feel so ashamed. I cant even say I'm glad it's Friday... life sux!

While setting up scenes, I don't draw them out, I just keep adding and subtracting and taking test shots until it works out.

Testing the entire power supply assembly after hooking it all up. "It all" is the power entry module, 500 mA resettable fuse, main power switch (in my hand there), and adjustable dual DC voltage regulator (the big green circuit board). The potentiometer hanging off the left of the circuit board adjusts the negative DC voltage. There's another one hanging off the right, out of the picture, for the positive side. The LEDs on the mini breadboard are dummy loads, which are required for the voltage regulators to be adjusted properly. IT ALL WORKS. The main switch even lights up! Hooray!

described his images in this cinematic cropped proportions as in title. I tried to apply it to my existing shots. Not everyone is correct but testing was the must for me. They need another compositions but why not to check what those exotic and professional images might bring new to my shots. :)
