They have been done many times before, but sometimes you just gotta build some Starcraft space marines. I made them a little larger than minifig scale to play with the proportions a bit.
Of the four Terrans I made, this is my favorite. I am pleased I was able to get the cyber high heel thing to work and she balances really well. The articulation isn't bad considering the scale. No hips and no knees, but she has neck, waist, back, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and 2 ankle articulations.

I wanted to show off the cool collaborative we did for Brickworld in Europe as well, by bringing it to the Skærbæk Fan Weekend in Denmark, but seeing as all the terrain and Zerg and Terran forces went elsewhere, I was left with my Protoss army. So I set out to build some new terrain, and add some Zerg and Terrans to the map.
I chose to build some terrain fitting of having almost only Protoss structures: Aiur themed. Sadly, I didn't have time to make it as big as I wanted, so units are overflowing the map a bit...

United Terran Space Force Dorado class (refit) long-range escort frigate T.S.S. Skipjack
As part of the Space Defense Force’s Fleet Modernization Project, the remaining ex-Futuron PTY-51 Dorado-class escort/patrol frigates were extensively overhauled to extend service life. Upgrades including a redesigned bridge module, extended crew space, a new drive assembly, and upgraded sensor package significantly expanded the ships’ operational range as well as improving its fighting ability. PTY-5171, the Skipjack was the second ship of the class to undergo refitting.
Though lightly armed, the fast Dorado class is more than a match for any typical pirate vessel.
Not strictly SHIPtember, since I started it a while back, but hey, it's when you finish that counts, right?
Excuse the background, my normal photo setup won't fit something this size at all.

The NCS: Mobile Anti-Space-Debris Exo-Frame. [M.A.S.D.E.F.] or 'Mastiff' - as it's called in the outer rim.
At once a useful tool for removing pesky asteroids from your LL-Class Starship's path, and a powerful defensive suit in those tense extra-terrestrial encounters! The M.A.S.D.E.F. if an all-in-one powerful extension of any human crew member.
Also available in 'Loader' Format- Coming Soon!
My entry for the #BricksandBeer #9BrickMech contest. I love this little guy! Featuring prototype Brickarms in the over-shoulder extensions, and some woooonderful test-shot #Bionicle I was gifted💜 for the blast effects.
Ten years ago, after being betrayed by one of their own, a Terran Expeditionary Marine special operations team was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These people promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the galactic underground. Today, still wanted by the Solar Union, still haunted by the loss of one of their own, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find them... maybe you can hire... Elsa's Elite.

Took a break from building spaceships to put together a company of edtuy's OMF-G29 "Betty Sue" frames. I love these guys! Credit to dark_syntax for inspiration on the stations.
I haven't figured out all of the system allocations yet, and was basically just building for looks in this pass.
After 3 long years of hard work designing, redesigning and finally building, we are proud share our 'LEGO StarCraft' collaborative build, which was first shown at Brickworld Chicago.
Check out the main layout shot here!
We had a team of amazing builders from United States, Canada, Belgium and Norway to help to piece this all together. We hope you take a moment to look at all the detail shots, units, battles, and skermishes in the collaboratives group here:

What mainly inspired me for this build:
- intergalactic racing pit stop station something by LEGOLIZE IT MAN (2018).
- Bastard of Winterfell by dasnewten (2011).
- UNES Odyssey 21 by Kyle Collard (2013). I don't recall very well but I think this inspired me for the sensor array and the general black aesthetic behind the hull.
This is my tribute to that glorious era in the 2010's when people like dasnewten, Red Spacecat, LEGOLIZE IT MAN, Ryan Olsen, Alexander Safarik, Tim Schwalfenberg, only to name a few (find all the others in my favorites), were building all those amazing microspace ships more or less inspired by Homeworld universe, or with a brick-built hull.
Starcraft II Map: Megaton. This is phase 1 of a Starcraft build. The second phase will include capital ships and more structures. Also the map will get 50% wider.
Special thanks to Chris Malloy for cleaning up the pics!

part of many things I've had sitting around for a while
some different weapons is all that is really new here
Built in 2006 and based on artwork by Peter Elson, taken from the Terran Trade Authority handbook Spaceliners Commercial Spacetravel in 2200AD.
One of Sendak Space Lines short haul freighters, powered by a rare temporal coil-assisted electro-magnetic flux drive.
With the advent of the Metagrav drive system, Terran ships no longer needed a bulge around the equator to house impulse engines.
On many older ship designs, the bulge was also important for the structural integrity of the hull, and thus could not be removed completely when retrofitting a Metagrav drive into an older ship. Thus a compromise was made for cargo vessels: removing parts of the bulge, and moving machinery from the center of the ship into the remaining parts of the bulge.
This made it possible to have a cargo deck spanning the entire diameter of the ship, with large access ports on opposing sides. The resulting ships were called RORO (roll-on roll-off) freighters, in reference to ocean-going ships of the past with similar features.
Based on lore from the Perry Rhodan series.
Replacing the Terran Federation's aging fleet of AC-12s, the Cygnus-Sikorsky BH-114S Whitetip is a versatile midsized space/atmospheric craft designed for ground attack and anti-capital ship roles. Vastly outstripping its predecessor, the BH-114 is capable of extended missions; hyperdrive-equipped and capable of on-the-fly refueling, mission duration is primarily limited by available crew consumables. Available armaments include:
12 standard wing hardpoints for standard missiles or bombs.
2 aft-mounted rear defensive 15mm Gauss guns.
2 wing-mounted forward defensive 15mm Gauss guns.
Internal bomb rack capable of holding up to 8 bombs.
2 wing heavy hardpoints for anti-base missiles or drop tanks.
2 fixed forward 80mm Gauss cannons
The craft has a normal crew of three: pilot, weapons officer, and tail gunner.
This thing has been on my shelf for damn near a year. Finally took some okay enough to post shots.
Over the next few days these awesome builders will slowly be unveiling some of their amazing work in recreating one of the greatest games of all time.

The Terran-Zhikan War is now into its 10th year. As more and more heavy naval units are drawn to the warzone at the Border, the Terran Empire needed replacement units to police the Core Systems, as well as defending against strategic “terror” strikes by the enemy.
The Fire Drake Class was developed as a fast response light carrier, used for system defense and patrol within the Empire Core. Each carrier has a complement of 20 Fire Wasp Starfighters and is heavily armed, to be able to engage enemy Capital Ships on its own.
The Fire Drakes are produced by Shenzhen Space Industries from orbiting shipyards around their Core World Neo-China, the same manufacturer of the Fire Wasp Starfighters.
Armament:
Twin Missile Turrets: 7 (Multirole)
Twin linked Auto Blaster Turrets: 14 (Point Defense)
Twin linked Heavy Kinetic Cannon Turrets: 2 (Heavy Bombardment/Anti-Capital Ship)

The Marines are the basic offensive unit for the Terrans in both Starcraft games.
To create the giant shoulder pads, I stuck standard tap pieces through the helmets and attached them to the newest style of Bionicle minifigure arm. This is the same arm piece used on the backside.
My newest creation is the Terran Thor from the PC Game Starcraft II. Click here for more information.
I'm attending Brickcon this year and will display this one.
Intel just said there are no zerg rushes incoming today, we have the day off. My firebat friend will prepare that napalm-flavoured crispy chicken!
More Starcraft II! This time it's the Viking. I'm not really pleased with this one :/ It doesn't even transform.
Merry Christmas!

The Fire Wasp starfighter, produced by Shenzhen Space Industries from orbiting shipyards around their Core World Neo-China, was the ideal solution. Its small size and “no frills” design allow for massive numbers to be produced in a short time, at minimum materiel cost. Basically a cockpit and weaponry mounted on a powerful fusion engine, the Fire Wasp is very fast and agile. This coupled with its small size, makes it a very hard target to hit.
Whilst it lacks endurance and range, large squadrons of Fire Wasps can be launched from orbital fortresses or patrolling space carriers, swarming the enemy.
The Fire Wasp is armed with 4 Mandible assault cannons and 4 Stinger missiles.
