Well, after 2 months the next building.
It's the second try to use these green parts and in my opinion, it's much better than the first version.
And it's the first time I can say, I really like the engine. =D
Hope you enjoy.
Thanks to Master Sam for the background.
Someone should tell me how to do, I get sick of asking someone else. =P
The East Terran Trading Company has established a warehouse in the Corlander settlement of Black Beach on Gunpowder Island. The island is distinctive because it has a volcano in the interior, resulting in black sand beaches. Gunpowder Island is rumored to have rich veins of copper and abundant saltpeter, which provide ample reason for the ETTC to express interest. While the settlement is still fledgling, ETTC clearly sees the importance of the future resources to be extracted.
The island is also rumored to be inhabited by hostile natives, so a complement of ETTC sepoys secure the facility.
A soldier from the nearby Martello Tower brings a bag of outgoing mail to the warehouse, where it will ship out for Port Woodhouse. A friendly monkey helps stand guard.
Built for Brethren of the Brick Seas on EuroBricks
Part of the StarCraft layout I displayed at LEGO World Copenhagen in February, this is the Terran Dominion base.
I wanted to try to represent the Terrans in a setting natural to them, so I built this (somewhat rusty) platform for their base. For those who know the game, this is supposed to depict an expansion base outside their main base, which would be up the ramp on the left.
See the complete layout here

My StarCraft layout is an evolution of the StarCraft collaborative I was a part of that was displayed at BrickWorld Chicago last year. To be able to display the layout at events I go to in Europe, I've expanded on my contribution from then, resulting in new designs as well as evolved designs from the original layout, and my own set of terrain modules.
Thanks to everyone involved in the group for all the inspiration and great builds, which helped me greatly in creating my own personal take on the layout.
Yeah, so it happened. I used wheels as engines. Even more, technically biggest Lego wheels ever, not counting tyres of course.
A lightly armoured naval vessel. I wanted something to practice some greebling on (greebles aren't one of my strong points) so it's still a bit unfinished.

The low-profile shot, which I am really not satisfied with. Something is wrong with this model, altough it is better than before, I still feel that it can be made better.
This one definitely needs a stand. Altough it is based on heavy beam structure, the modules on end of each wing are rather weak.
Yup, still at the starships. This one actually started as a physical build believe it or not. The darker colours are because I just have more physical bricks in that colour, so it was easier to build in these colours.
Anyone familiar with Star Trek may have guessed that there's something amiss here. The starship being grey mainly, but the big giveaway is "ISS". Yes, the Erebus hails from the Mirror universe, and serves as part of the Terran Empire. Timeline wise I'd say it's from around about the 25th century. When I built this, I wasn't fully up to date with the history of the Terran Empire, so I was unaware it had in fact fallen some time before this. So let's say the Erebus comes from a mirror mirror universe.
I based the engines on the ones seen on the Enterprise J. The rest was just whatever flowed and worked well.
The name "Erebus" comes from the HMS Erebus, which was lost during an exploratory mission in the Canadian Arctic, along with her sister ship, the HMS Terror. Funnily enough, I've been calling this ship the Terror since I finished the physical model. Not sure why I changed it tbh. I guess Erebus is just a more interesting name. Might have a go at making an ISS Terror to go alongside the Erebus.
Naturally, I came across the tale of the Erebus and Terror in the TV series "The Terror", so I might have a go at doing a little story for the ships when I get ISS Terror made.
And I think that wraps things up. Just like last time, I've uploaded 5 pictures, each with a different view of the ship.

My take on the old Terran Trade Authority illustration, one of my favorites!

Not accurate in shape or colour scheme but just my homage to some great sci-fi illustrations of my childhood.
Perhaps Blacktron have stolen the designs...
Not much changed here, basically added few turrets because before, the ship's aft was unguarded which looked a bit weird.
Along the Stone Barn Trail in Nachusa Grasslands, stands multiple sandstone buttes and cliffs, usually covered in moss and other plants. In this picture, a tall free-standing butte rises above the low underbrush of an oak savanna, mere feet from the trail. Nachusa sits on Karst terrane, or a landscape of porous rock defined by artesian wells, sinkholes, and natural springs. Millions of years ago, the region was up-heaved, exposing the shallow sandstone, and when the glaciers arrived, and subsequently melted, the porous sandstone was eroded, creating the interesting-shaped cliffs dotting the prairies.
The CAR is the standard infantry weapon for the Terran Military grunt. Very effective overall — you can hose down an area using the primary fire mode or deliver a lethal single punch with the alternate fire.
_______________
IMO the most practical weapon in Unreal 2 and therefore one of my favorites in this game.
This really took some work, even though it came out a bit rough and inaccurate.
I hope you like it ;]
Some of the systems that allied themselves with the CS fleet over the past decades even achieved the incorporation of terran technology in their own vessels. Such is the case of the Macula, engineered by the Reticulans of the R'ghe-sol (pronounced: /ˈreɡ.eɪ/ - \ˈsōl\ )system. The Reticulans quickly adopted CS ideology and with it, their technology. The Reticulans reverse-engineered a CS fleet Bomber, keeping it's overall shape but adding their own traditional jagged edge aesthetic. Although the Macula was still a bomber, the design of the offset sonar, that stretched forward past the cockpit was often mistaken by opposing factions as a railgun, reducing fighter attacks on the Reticulan bomber formations.
< This is built for the Starfighter telephone game, and although it jumped a lot in design compared to it's previous version, built by Red Spacecat, I hope it stands as an odd evolution.
In desperate need of a mobile gun platform during the New Hessian conflict, the Terran Federation modified a T7 LoadLifter engineering mech to suit its needs.
Outfitted with advanced targeting sensors for its twin 20mm cannons, the Hunchback makes an excellent option when ground support and area denial is required.
Feels good to create again - this is really the first thing I've been able to put out since my son was born. Much thanks to Mondaynoodle for the inspiration on the feet!
Hmm, if Buck Rogers owned a Vic Viper, what would it look like?
This started off with a mix of curves and anglular panels but it felt a little heavy so I trimmed the curves and accentuated the straight lines. The intakes went through about five incarnations before I settled on this one. Two years of NoVVember and this is my first 'true' Viper: now I understand why Pete and Nnenn are so crazy about this things, they're just a joy to work with.
Second Bug War

The United Citizen Federation (AKA the Terran Federation) dug a series of entrenchments on the farming planet of Roku San. Commanded by John Rico, the UCF defended the planet until they were wiped out and forced to withdraw. The Arachnids, comprised mostly of Warrior bugs, found a way through the electric-powered defensive gate while the infantry was on low alert. The combination of poor attention and electric errors caused the UCF to suffer a decisive defeat.

I hope you enjoyed this mini shot. I thought it would be cool to post prior to receiving my mobile infantry troops from @theminifigco. The two officers shown aren’t necessarily screen accurate, but I tried to work with what I had in my collection. There are three @brickstuff lights illuminating the trench, the security door panel, and the inside of the bunker tunnel.
What inspired me for this build:
- Mark Kelso's Rusty ferret for the front.
- Norsehound's Somtaaw frigate for the back.

Richter's angsty. He can't land a date with any of the girly mechs in town! He doesn't have a license! School sucks! He's tired of having parts siphoned off of him for all these junk-faced combat bots coming off the line! When his service crew was combing through his memory banks during maintenance they found some grainy jpegs of something called, "Skank Bot"; and banned him from browsing the terran net!
He's grabbed some toys from the closet and he's off to fight this war; enough dinking around with this "home front" business.
The Terran Empire surely did not hesitate to invite her, once she had mentioned her interest in the bounty on Jorik Kavas head. In fact it seemed important enough to invite her to Terras. Cathleen had never been to the Empire’s capital before, but she disliked it immediately once she had entered the atmosphere. Except for a few green spots, the whole planet was one continuous city. While Cathlyn usually liked the lively streets of any city, this was by far too much. The patterns of grey and blue skyscrapers melted into one grey ocean, while she flew over them. Once she had gained landing permission, she set the Shadow Hawk down on a small landing platform. While still in the city, the military complex she had been guided to was far from any passage any citizens would take and well obscured by other military buildings. The Terrans might not like the idea of their government having contracts with bounty hunters, so all of it was kept secret.
As she left the platform, she was immediately observed by hundreds of security cameras. Every room had some guards watching it aswell. She finally entered the room, where the meeting should take place. An elderly officer was standing behind a table in the center of the room. Cathleen had to admit, the Terrans had a certain eye for strategic planning. They had not left a single object to take cover on the floor. Along the walls, there were several guards and even military drones positioned on a platform, a bit higher as floor levle. Every one of them would have a perfect aim at her from this position. However, what might have impressed an ordinary man of woman, could not fool Cathlyn. All of the soldiers still had their guns on their back and even the security drones had lowered their blaster. If anything went wrong, she could easily shot anyone before they even had the chance to react. However, that was not why she was here. „Welcome, miss…“, the officer started, but Cathlyn held up one hand, silencing him. „Let’s skip that. We both know, why we are here: business. So let’s directly come to that.“, she said in a harsh tone. There was no point of waisting time here. „Very well, so, Jorik Kavas, a General of the Centuri forces and an enemy to the Empire will be the target. We will reward you with 300.000 creates, if you take him out. The bounty will be paid, as soon as his death is confirmed, either by intel or by you, handing over his corpse.“. That was the way she liked contracts, quick and simple. However, she still saw a chance here… „A general of the Centuri forces, you say…well…I do assume the one who kills him will have a lot of trouble with the Centuri in the future, right ?“. She actually didn’t care, but she could raise the bounty this way. „Well, maybe…“. Yes, she got him here. „I thought so, thus I require a raise of the bounty to guarantee my safety in the future.“ „I don’t know, if we can…“ „You can for sure. 500.000 credits and we have a deal.“. „While such high rewards are not within the Terran contract guidelines, I assume your efficiency would justify such investments…very well…we have a deal. 500.000 credits for the death of Jorik Kavas.“ „We have a deal, indeed.“, Cathlyn answered and turned around, making sure to have the last word in this rather short conversation. It would not have needed any bounty to convince her to hunt Jorik Kavas, however, a good profit made it even more interesting.

Here is my entry for the first galactic challenge of Struggle for Klegon. I am not too satisfied with the MoC, since it lacks color, but the photo is ok. Also, I had the chance to re-use my infantry drone design here. Hope you like it !

Classic Science Fiction 70's Art - The interstellar Queen
Here is my tribute to classic Science Fiction Art of the 70’s. I remember the gorgeous spaceship art on book covers from that period which eventually led me to picking up Steward Cowley’s book Spacecraft 2000 to 2100 AD. Essentially an ensemble of fantastic space art from talented visual artists, which Cowley cleverly presents in a believable historical reference guide. For me, one ship stood out from the rest, the space liner Interstellar Queen.
And here it is presented in Lego form, my build of artist Angus Mckie’s graceful swan like space liner from the book. I’ve tried to capture the classic lines of the ship without altering too much of Mckie’s original design. I was a little apprehensive at first about the boxy nature of the hull, but seeing the finished model, I think she does have a certain charm about her. I had to make some changes to the rear of the ship and engine placement. This was due in part to the shaping of the Lego hull. The original technical drawing of the rear of the Interstellar Queen can be found in the book.
Specification of the Lego model
Length : 63cm
Width : 32cm
Height : 20cm (excluding base)
Build time : 1.5 months
The model is displayed in a space dock setting at her intended flight angle. Docking clamps hold her in place. I would have liked landing gear, but that made the model very unstable. The dock setting provides more stability.

Red is hard to take pictures of.
Based off of Zeessi's suit.
This was made for the new BrickForge Coilgun, but as I was balancing my cart to my budget, I must have accidentally removed all of the coilguns.
Looking at this on a different monitor, that red is rather intense.
BCV-5, USS Into the Breach, a Samar-Class Battle Carrier, was a Battle Carrier-Cruiser Subclass serving in the Terran Navy during the earliest phases of Terran Extra-Atmospheric military operations. A top-of-the-line new class, the Samars boasted an internal carousel hanger with 6 kingfisher medium superiority fighters, 7x2 40mm PDCs, 4x1 40mm PDCs, 2x2 533 missile tubes, and 4x4 203mm railguns with autoloaders capable of rendering rates of fire as high as 30 RPM. After many years of service, the class was eventually handed off to colonial peacekeeping forces for patrol and colonial defense duty, where the ship still serves in its role today.
It's basically invisible here, but the central section that looks hollow(as it is), is where the carousel of 6 fighters is. 3 Face fore, and 3 face aft.

Employed by the United Terran Federation as its low orbit defense platform of choice, the Basilisk is a feared sight when encountered. Firing enhanced ferromagnetic slugs, its twin railgun pods can wreak havoc on even the heaviest of armors. Piloting a Basilisk requires lightning quick reflexes, as its oversized colloid electrospray engine can easily propel it to unmanageable speeds.

Though technically they have eight eyes, seven on their head and their ‘belly-eye’ the first humans to see them described the new alien race as being ‘cyclops’ and this name has stuck, mainly due to the Cyclopians own pleasure in the name. As their first ambassador to the Terran system put it: “We are a species of singular vision; there is no compromise, no bending of our will, and no changing of our precepts. To do so just wouldn’t be us, so we bear your Earth language name with pride.”
Of course this singular vision and lack of compromise means they often end up in conflict with each other and other species. The Cyrana fighter (named for a species of fish on their home world of Monoth) is an effective, maneuverable and well armed craft that holds up well against most comparable craft. It is said that the Ooze Queen of Monoth has one in her personal garage, but it has also been said “She is too fat and covered in stinking crusted ooze to fit in an Octan Space Tanker.” Though that’s why the Cyclopians went to war with the Squidites, so let’s not spread that around too much.
Dissention and defection from the Monocrasy of the Ooze Queen has increased in recent decades and many otherwise law-abiding Cyclopians have been drawn into criminal gangs in an attempt to find security from punishment death gangs loyal to the Queen. The Space Police have expressed concern to Terran Gov over these acts of violence and protests have been made to the Cyclopian ambassador, as is to be expected no change to Cyclopian policy has been made.

I like the way this came out! The design's a bit off due to trying to keep the proportions in tact. Hope you like it!

What mainly inspired me for this build:
- intergalactic racing pit stop station something by LEGOLIZE IT MAN (2018).
- Bastard of Winterfell by dasnewten (2011).
- UNES Odyssey 21 by Kyle Collard (2013). I don't recall very well but I think this inspired me for the sensor array and the general black aesthetic behind the hull.
This is my tribute to that glorious era in the 2010's when people like dasnewten, Red Spacecat, LEGOLIZE IT MAN, Ryan Olsen, Alexander Safarik, Tim Schwalfenberg, only to name a few (find all the others in my favorites), were building all those amazing microspace ships more or less inspired by Homeworld universe, or with a brick-built hull.
