After a tense flight aboard a transport plane, the Snowcat is dropped off and Snowjob and Lisa tear through the snow
Snowjob: Lisa, I didn’t mean to get off on the wrong foot with you and I’ve been thinking about it… You are right, this is ridiculous. Instead of training, what do you say we find a pretty place to do some skiing and afterwards we can relax and I’ll make sure to give you a glowing report? Sound good?
Lisa: Yeah, that sounds a lot better. Maybe we will have a little fun today?
Snowjob: Yep, it’s gonna be a beautiful day Leece!
Lisa: Great! Know any cool spots around here to ski?
Snowjob: Nope, never been here before, but I’m sure we won’t have a problem finding something. This place is beautiful!
Lisa: So am I going to have to do any Snowcat driving at all?
Snowjob: If you want to…
Lisa: How about this? If we run into any Cobra’s, I do the driving.
Snowjob: Whatever you say; we’re not going to run into anybody up here. Maybe a pipeline crew, but that’s about it.
Lisa: Are we near the Alaskan pipeline?
Snowjob: It’s somewhere around here, but we’re looking for ski hills.
Lisa: You got that right!

Seeing this lighthouse from above, I just had to get near it at ground level. Which is not super easy, since it requires a 1.25 mile walk from the Birling Gap on a slippery, rocky beach. The unfortunate fact is, this scene is probably best at high tide, but there is no way to take this shot when it's high tide :LOL

A tale of two athletes and two very different moods. Bib 47 radiates neon intensity, while Bib 50 keeps it sleek and serious in black. Both appear fully loaded and primed for explosive performance… but only one seems truly aware of being observed.

I knew Lionfish were venomous even fatal.
After coming across one about 20 feet offshore I googled the number of fatalities they cause in a year.
Apparently the spines cause a really painful sting which is seldom fatal but the commonest incidents are with curious photographers who annoy them!
Judging by the way this one's spines have gone from being flat against its back to being fully erect I guess I was lucky!
