Pippin doesn't like water very much, not even in small amounts if I dribble dishwater on him when he's underfoot. The only time he has ever flipped out was at the vet when they put cleaning solution in his ears. But when I'm taking a shower and I leave the door open, he always hangs out on the ledge, in between the outer and inner shower curtain. Sometimes he'll even jump into the bathtub after I'm done and lick the water (gross).
Our pipes were a bit clogged, and there was about an inch of standing water in the tub. He watched in fascination as the last drops of water dripped from the faucet into the pool. I kept waiting for our inherently clumsy kitten to slip and fall in, but he never did.
I am a sucker for elephants and despite having trekked before, I was tempted by the opportunity to see the inside of the island and also to be with the elephant when it was bathed in the river.
Me again tempting the fates. This little 3-wheeler would fly but you sure had to make sure you kept your feet on the pegs or it would try to climb right up your leg and I guarantee that you won't enjoy that part.
There were lots of trees leaning way out over Stony Brook, and between the cold water and the bright sun, the water was extremely clear.

On my return I wondered if I could get a better view of the building site behind the old Institute.
It was such a chill wind but I needed to walk. Tempted to cut it short but I kept on going.
