i Love what i Do project has met its first unexpected and totally unplanned participant who was so kind and willing to share his thoughts while caught on the spot at the school he's working for. his passion for what he does was more than evident:

-What do you enjoy about your work?

-Getting things which are supposed to go into scrapheap back working again. My main mission in life is to not chuck stuff away and get more years of life out of equipment. It's an up-hill battle because you take stuff down to the dump and you want to bring back more stuff than you've actually taken there, because ''oh, I can get that working or that hoover looks pretty new - I can get that working..'' I love fixing things, always have. I've always taken things apart, right from the age of about six. I had a little toy bus, probably worth a fortune now. I took it apart and never got to put it back together again, but the older I got, the more things I got back together again, and now it's become my job.

People get rid of an iPhone not because it's not working, but because they want an iPhone 7 or the very latest thing. All these mobile phones sitting in people's drawers, just sitting there wasting away. But all the rare metals that go into mobile phones such as gold, samarium and other - they're all being mined out, and it's not enough of them, and they're very difficult to get back in circulation again.

Gazelle plays a self-described genre of music called "LIMPOP", derived from the name of the province (Limpopo, South Africa) where the vocalist, Xander Ferreira, was raised.

The focus of Gazelle is to create authentic "Afrikan Elektronic Dance Musik".

I was fortunate enough to see them here in Kolding, Denmark on January 29th, 2010. After being told about A show that was playing at the local club, I did some quick investigation. While their music is nice to listen to in its "fully produced" style, their live show is unrivaled. Every beat that was played, went right to your core and made you wiggle.

They have just now finished their European tour and will soon be heading to New York after some time off.

You can hear and read more about Gazelle here: www.yogazelle.com

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. In the Remote Manipulator System lab, United Space Alliance technicians Jake Senior and Todd Dugan work on the Orbiter Boom Sensor System. The OBSS is undergoing final checkout and testing in the lab prior to being transferred to the Orbiter Processing Facility for installation on Space Shuttle Discovery. The 50-foot-long OBSS will be attached to the Remote Manipulator System, or Shuttle arm, and is one of the new safety measures for Return to Flight, equipping the orbiter with cameras and laser systems to inspect the Shuttle's Thermal Protection System while in space. Discovery is slated to fly mission STS-114 once Space Shuttle launches resume. The launch planning window is May 12 to June 3, 2005.
