From my first roll of Tech Pan, processed in my first soup of Rodinal (1:300 12 min). Negs seemed a little thin but I like the final look.
Technical Sgt. Ryan Plantin, a crew chief assigned to the 451st Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, performs pre-flight checks on an F-16 Fighting Falcon before it launches for a mission May 6, 2012. Personnel are deployed from McEntire Joint National Guard Base, S.C., in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Swamp Fox F-16’s, pilots, and support personnel began their Air Expeditionary Force deployment early April to take over flying missions for the air tasking order and provide close air support for troops on the ground in Afghanistan.

technically sub-arctic due to the fact it is not high enough in latitude to experience 24 hrs of light and dark, it's arctic climate and permafrost exists from the surface down 6-12'. the proximity to the hudson bay and prevailing winds from the frozen north keep the place remote and lightly inhabited year around...currently accessible only by plane (the one train that serviced the area had tracks washed out last yr due to heavy flooding and there are no plans to restore it). It truly is a great place to visit with great people but I wouldn't want to live there!

...after spending 2 hours following the three pages of trouble shooting the heater fan in the Honda workshop manual - I resorted to basic instincts - locate heater blower unit - bash it. It worked ! Probably a bit of fluff in the fan or spiders web.
Technically speaking - this was 'externally energize the fan unit' !
