Session on ‘Tech Rocketships’ was held on Wednesday, 9 November.

Look familiar? The admittedly rather impressive metallic red recolour of the Matchbox 2022 Renault Megane E-Tech first appeared as a basic single back in early 2023 but has been exhumed to be part of the new European Streets series. Its in good company as all but one model in this assortment are blatant recycled releases which Matchbox justify as it keeps costs down for them to produce more licensed castings each year.

We partnered with Mobile Future to host the TechCocktail & Mobile Future SXSW Lunch, where we brought together leaders from across the country working in the wireless space.
We headed to the Big Apple for a Tech Cocktail mixer & startup showcase. At New York City’s Center for Social Innovation, the latest and greatest batch of startups innovating out of New York had an opportunity to hop on stage and pitch their ideas before an excited and energetic crowd.
Startups that showcased: Circumrent, CommonKey, LookBooker, LumiFi, picsell, Rockerbox, SketchFactor, SocialRank.
Congrats to Circumrent for winning the Tech Cocktail's Reader Choice AND the Best Pitch! We look forward to hopefully seeing you at Tech Cocktail's biggest event in the fall, Celebrate!

Gobblerfest helped kick off the fall semester on the Drillfield, welcoming thousands of students, faculty, staff and members of the community back to campus.
