Putting to rest the stereotype that high tech is for the young.

We headed to the Big Apple for a Tech Cocktail mixer & startup showcase. At New York City’s Center for Social Innovation, the latest and greatest batch of startups innovating out of New York had an opportunity to hop on stage and pitch their ideas before an excited and energetic crowd.

Startups that showcased: Circumrent, CommonKey, LookBooker, LumiFi, picsell, Rockerbox, SketchFactor, SocialRank.

Congrats to Circumrent for winning the Tech Cocktail's Reader Choice AND the Best Pitch! We look forward to hopefully seeing you at Tech Cocktail's biggest event in the fall, Celebrate!

Apple a maintenant 1,3 milliard d’appareils en circulation dans le monde entier, Tim Cook a déclaré après les résultats trimestriels d’aujourd’hui.

En particulier, l’iPhone reste le meilleur vendeur

Jamais Apple n’ a fait plus d’argent avec l’iPhone qu’entre Octobre et Décembre 2017, avec le boom de l’iPhone X étant le principal contributeur, selon Cook.

Montre avec quart-temps record

Mentionnons également: Selon Cook, la montre Apple Watch a enregistré le meilleur trimestre de tous les temps. Cependant, il n’ y a toujours pas de chiffre d’affaires précis.

Apple Pay nouveau au Brésil

Autre chiffre record: Apple compte désormais 240 millions d’abonnés dans le monde, soit une augmentation de 30 millions par rapport au même trimestre l’an dernier. iCloud, Apple Music et Apple Pay n’ont jamais gagné plus d’argent qu’au 4ème trimestre 2017, et Apple Pay va bientôt s’étendre au Brésil. Un début en Allemagne n’était pas un problème lors de la conférence téléphonique. Il reste le même: il n’ y a pas de rendez-vous.

Selon les chiffres: Forte hausse du cours de l’action

Après une brève chute dans le rouge, le cours de l’action Apple est devenu négatif sur le marché secondaire. Maintenant, il se situe à un peu moins de 4 pour cent, soit environ 6,50 dollars, plus: le prix actuel de post-négociation ici.
