Diamond Valley Library, Greensborough, one of nine libraries in the Yarra Plenty Regional Library network was renovated in 2021.
Libraries are no longer silent spaces just for borrowing books. They are information hubs and working spaces designed to get you the resources, materials, and connections you need.
The newly-refurbished Diamond Valley Library has meeting and working spaces that can be booked for your exclusive use, and large spaces that can be used for co-working. We offer free 90-minute bookings for our semi-enclosed meeting and tech pods which have TV screens for your presentation, utilising laptop and iPad projection. They cater for up to 8 people but are equally useful as a semi-private space for work or meetings. There is a large community room, with kitchen facilities and a large screen, which can be hired at reasonable rates for an hour or more, or a whole day.
We have study booths and privacy chairs for reading or working, along with free wi-fi, PCs, free scanning, and low-cost access to printing and photocopying.
The library’s large collection of books, audio books, and magazines, all available in physical form or as e-resources, includes titles covering business, management, finance, marketing, career development, and computing and tech skills, to name a few!
Our facilities at Diamond Valley library complement other YPRL resources, including Maker Spaces which offer 3D printing, laser cutting, dedicated design PCs, podcast equipment, and craft and tool kits. There is free access to LinkedIn learning, which has courses to support your personal and business development. We also run a program of events and information sessions to support small business.

We headed to the Big Apple for a Tech Cocktail mixer & startup showcase. At New York City’s Center for Social Innovation, the latest and greatest batch of startups innovating out of New York had an opportunity to hop on stage and pitch their ideas before an excited and energetic crowd.
Startups that showcased: Circumrent, CommonKey, LookBooker, LumiFi, picsell, Rockerbox, SketchFactor, SocialRank.
Congrats to Circumrent for winning the Tech Cocktail's Reader Choice AND the Best Pitch! We look forward to hopefully seeing you at Tech Cocktail's biggest event in the fall, Celebrate!

A Food Truck & Technology Event in Downtown Orlando
Trucks & Tech is a mashup of two cultures that we love – foodies and techies. This is the only event around that combines discussion from leaders in the Central Florida tech community with top local food trucks to fill attendees’ minds and stomachs with the best of the best. For Trucks & Tech II: Trucktoberfest we have added a twist! This Oktoberfest themed event will feature German inspired food from each food truck, an all new Startup Alley, a costume contest and beer boots galore. So bring your lawn chairs, blankets and German spirit for a night of tech, food and fun.

The Tour de Tech is a casual no-drop ride around the interior of campus and adjacent areas, with a focus on showcasing new roadway improvements, bringing the community and administrators together on bikes, and just generally having some fun.
