I had my Grade 7s create games that involve adding and subtracting integers instead of doing a unit test. The results exceeded my expectations!
This game involves keeping track of the positive and negative leaves one accrues!

Some of the teaching and learning materials in the special needs classroom at Felege Abay Elementary School, Bahar Dar, Ethiopia. The Government of Ethiopia, with GPE support, is working to improve access to quality education for hard to reach populations, including children with physical and intellectual disabilities.

One of the best parts of my career is that you never stop learning new things. Today we were with the case of a patient that had a highly suggestive neurosurgery plan: a woman in her late 20s with history of head injury of one day of evolution, diagnosed with epilepsy since her childhood, whom had received many anti epileptics since diagnosis. We received the CT scan that showed areas of calcification suggesting Neurocystisercosis. For many years, this patient received treatment for her seizures but not exactly for the etiology...

Volunteer Uganda 2014 Teaching and Orphanage program
Volunteer in one of two local orphanages in the Wakiso district, located outside of the city of Kampala. The village orphanage and school not only provide a home and safe haven this is where the children have classes.
Most of these children have lost parents to HIV/Aids. Some have been abandoned, and they know abuse, hunger and fear. The orphanage strives to provide a better future for some of the most vulnerable children in Uganda. As a volunteer, you will primarily assist with the daily care of the kids; getting them ready for school, brushing teeth, reading to them. After-school activates you can play games, arrange activities, create arts & crafts projects and share your time and caring with these wonderful children.
Prior experience not necessary, volunteers should have a lot of patience, an open mind and a sense of compassion. The children range in age from 3yrs-13yrs old.

"One thing we really need is a cabinet in which to store our teaching and learning materials," says Principal Norkeo Keovisith. But with just 34 students in the school, the school block grants [which provide 100,000 Kip (US $12) per head (70,000 from the Government and 30,000 from GPE)] don't provide enough money to buy cabinets after other priorities are taken care of. "I wish we had a proper place to store our textbooks," says Principal Norkeo Keovisith. "We have to leave them on the table because we don't have a cabinet. And the wind and rain and dust blow in. My son is going to school to study Environmental Engineering. Here, his Uncle is teaching him the ropes. He's an EE as well. My other son is sooo enthused by the class. I really love the light here.

備份的方式有很多種，看是你要買一顆硬碟作備份呢？還是用DVD燒錄機做備份，亦或是還原的軟硬體設備，總之，備份是一門功課，攸關你多年心力的成果，電腦很便宜，但你的時間買不回來！備份的功課不要偷懶，備份的花費不要省。
對了，若是使用筆電的大大們，你的筆電應該不會出現這個畫面，因為它被藏起來了，其按鍵應該不是「del」鍵，而是「F1」~「F12」鍵，說明書會有寫，如果你懶得看的話，那就像彈鋼琴一樣的在「F1」~「F12」鍵上給它刷來刷去，總是會刷到的。帥吧！

Hmmm. Based on the type and preponderance of garbage, I'd say that day care or evening study hall is getting a little rowdy, and my class has little to do with it.
